  • Publication number: 20230347422
Abstract: A step drill bit including a shank operatively couplable to a tool, a body portion coupled to the shank, the body portion including a tool bit tip and a plurality of progressively sized, axially stacked steps, the body portion defining a hollow cavity, and an inner structure having a plurality of support members extending within the hollow cavity.

  • Publication number: 20230347540
Abstract: A cutting tool including a first handle, a second handle, a first head portion, and a second head portion. A force transfer mechanism interconnects the first handle, the second handle, the first head portion, and the second head portion. The force transfer mechanism includes a plurality of flexible links configured to resiliently deform and move the first head portion toward the second head portion in response to movement of the first handle toward the second handle. The first and second handle portions and the first and second head portions are integrally formed together with the force transfer mechanism as a single monolithic structure.

  • Patent number: 9714878
Abstract: A pressure sensitive device includes a ring having a central axis, first side and second side. The ring includes a dielectric portion parallel to the central axis and between the first and second sides. A flexible membrane is connected to a periphery of the ring on the first side, the flexible membrane including a conductive portion. A perforated membrane is connected to a periphery of the ring on the second side. The perforated membrane is spaced apart and electrically isolated from the flexible membrane by the ring below a threshold pressure differential across the pressure sensitive device. The perforated membrane includes an opening therethrough and a conductive portion facing and corresponding to the conductive portion of the flexible membrane such that a threshold pressure differential across the pressure sensitive device causes deflection between the conductive portions of the flexible membrane and the perforated membrane to change an electrical property.

  • Publication number: 20050212506
Abstract: A method for evaluating the accuracy of a current transformer is presented. The current transformer has a primary winding and a secondary winding. A current is not circulated through the primary winding. A load is disconnected from the current transformer. A load impedance is measured of an internal instrumentation associated with the current transformer. The resistance in the secondary winding of the current transformer is determined. The load impedance is compared to a standard burden. A standard burden value is selected. The secondary voltage for a rated current is determined. The injection voltage is adjusted to the value of the secondary voltage. The exciting current and power are measured. The ratio error or the phase angle are then calculated by using the exciting current and power.

  • Patent number: 6521319
Abstract: An assembly is provided for cleaning toner resin from the operating parts of a printing device. The assembly comprises a porous member impregnated with a silicone copolymer and a rigid member with a supporting base to mount said porous member. The assembly is preferably a two-part kit having a brush member for wiping components of the printing device and a pad member mountable for stationary positioning within said printing device for scrubbing components of the printing device as they move relative to the mounted pad. The silicone copolymer has the formula where x represents from about 98.8 molar percent to about 99.5 molar percent, y represents from about 0.5 molar percent to 1.2 molar percent and R comprises from about 70% by weight to about 100% by weight of a C15-C60 alkyl group and from about 0% by weight to about 30% by weight of a C2-C14 alkyl group.
