    Abstract: An instrument for performing an audio test on a loudspeaker of a motor vehicle is disclosed. The instrument comprises a support device having attachment means configured to be coupled to first and second hinge attachments in the passenger compartment of the motor vehicle so that the support device is supported within the passenger compartment, one or more microphones carried by the support device at respective fixed positions and configured to pick up sounds emitted by the loudspeaker and generate related signals, and a signal processing unit carried by the support device and configured to at least transmit, externally to the instrument, data associated with the signals generated by the microphones.
