  • Publication number: 20230255847
Abstract: A body bag includes an elongate base layer, an elongate top layer attached to the base layer to define an internal cavity, and an elongate flap provided in the top layer, wherein the flap is releasably securable to a fixed portion of the top layer. In addition, the base layer includes a low friction material disposed across at least a portion of an interiorly facing surface. Methods of manufacturing and using the body bag are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20230061295
Abstract: A patient transfer mattress includes elongate top and bottom sheets joined around their perimeter and by one or more baffles to define a cavity between the sheets. The patient transfer mattress also includes a valve in fluid communication with the cavity, and an outwards facing surface of the bottom sheet has a low friction material positioned at or adjacent to it. Methods of forming and using the patient transfer mattress are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11401079
Abstract: The invention relates to a tamper evident cap for removable screwing onto a fluid outlet provided on an enteral fluid source, the cap includes a tamper evident feature comprising a deflectable element configured to be momentarily deflectable in a longitudinal direction by a deflecting element provided on the fluid outlet as the cap is screwed onto the fluid outlet, and wherein the deflectable element is configured to be permanently deflected outwardly in relation to the longitudinal axis by the deflecting element as the cap is unscrewed from the fluid outlet to provide a visual indication that the cap has been unscrewed.

  • Publication number: 20210212902
Abstract: The invention relates to an enteral adapter assembly for connecting an enteral fluid source to an enteral feed tube, the assembly comprising: an adapter including: a proximal end comprising a first connection portion for attaching to a fluid outlet provided on the enteral fluid source, and a distal end comprising a first threaded connection portion for screwing to an end of an enteral feed tube. A fluid conduit extends between the proximal and distal ends. The assembly further comprises a removable cap having a second threaded connection portion configured for screwing the cap onto the first threaded connection portion, wherein the proximal end of the adapter further comprises a locking member configured to irreversibly mate with a corresponding feature provided on the fluid outlet of the enteral fluid source as the adapter is attached to the outlet to prevent removal of the adapter from the outlet when the cap is unscrewed from the distal end of the adapter.
