  • Patent number: 11584249
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for determining position information of a motor vehicle, which has an inductive charging device with at least one charging coil, which is in particular situated in the region of the bottom of the vehicle, and a measurement means which is assigned to the charging coil to measure a magnetic field, the method having the following steps: magnetizing, by supplying current to the charging coil, at least one magnetic structure which is situated in or on a surface on which the motor vehicle drives, wherein the structure and further structures are stored together with a position indication for the respective structure in a digital map; measuring, using the measurement means, measurement data which describe the magnetic behavior of the structure; identifying the structure by evaluating the measurement data; and determining the position information depending on position indication assigned to the identified structure.

  • Patent number: 11150652
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for operating a driver assistance system of a motor vehicle, wherein the motor vehicle is initially operated in a piloted or fully autonomous driving mode by a driver assistance device. Piloting data is provided by a control device of the motor vehicle, which describes at least one operating parameter of a motor vehicle system of the motor vehicle or the surroundings of the motor vehicle, and are navigation data. It is checked whether a totality of the provided piloting data meets a piloting condition, which stipulates a minimum requirement for the totality of the provided piloting data for implementing the piloted or fully autonomous driving mode. Upon failure to meet the piloting condition, an abort of the driving mode is determined and a driving situation signal is generated, which describes the piloting data and this signal is transmitted to a communication unit of a motor vehicle-external server device.

  • Patent number: 10670663
Abstract: A warning method for a high-voltage battery of a motor vehicle, with which, in the case of an accident of the motor vehicle, emergency responders can be provided details on the state of the high-voltage battery of the motor vehicle after the accident. This warning method includes at least one state diagnosis relating to at least one component of the high-voltage battery is created on the basis of supplied sensor data by means of an analysis unit, as soon as the accident of the motor vehicle has been detected. In addition, a total state diagnosis of the high-voltage battery based on this at least one state diagnosis is created. The at least one state diagnosis is transmitted via a corresponding communications unit to a vehicle-external monitoring unit, and the total state diagnosis of the high-voltage battery is transmitted via this communications unit to an emergency call dispatcher.
