  • Publication number: 20140012745
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to systems, methods and computer program products enabling a user of an account to pictorially view available funds over a predetermined period in the future and thereby enable informed bill payment scheduling. In some embodiments, a method comprises determining, for a predetermined period in the future, at least one bill payment to be made using funds associated with the account; initiating, via a mobile network, presentation of a graphical indicator indicating the at least one bill payment; and initiating, via the mobile network, presentation of an account balance graph associated with the account based at least partially on the at least one bill payment, wherein the account balance graph indicates the account balance during the predetermined period in the future.

  • Publication number: 20140012744
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to systems, methods and computer program products for implementing bill control. The invention enables a user of a financial institution account to maintain controls over bills via a single interaction point. In some embodiments, a method comprises determining whether a bill is due within a predetermined period; in response to determining the bill is due within the predetermined period: initiating, via a mobile network, presentation of a duration in which the bill is due; initiating, via the mobile network, presentation of an option to authorize payment of the bill via the mobile network; and in response to receiving selection of the option to pay the bill, authorizing payment of the bill via a financial institution account.

  • Publication number: 20140012754
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention relate to systems, methods, and computer program products for providing a financial document processing system. The system receives an image of a financial document, such as a check, and identifies at least a transaction amount from the financial document. Then the system determines account information associated with the financial document. The system may identify a routing and account number on the financial document or identify the document based on a name on the document. Once the transaction amount and account information are known, the system determines a prospective balance for a financial account based on the account information and the transaction amount. If there are funds at least equal to the transaction amount in the financial account, the system validates the transactions. In some embodiments, the system also immediately updates the balance of the account and/or offers to complete the transaction.

  • Patent number: 8245153
Abstract: A graphical user interface for a Gantt chart map display (100) includes a list of projects (214), a corresponding activity timeline reflecting activity for each project, and a control (210) at a side or bottom area of the Gantt chart map display for manipulating date ranges viewable in the viewable area. The GUI further includes a selected date range control (204) providing a high level view (202) of the corresponding activity timeline displayed in the viewable area (212) above and can provide a high level view of corresponding activity beyond the scrollable view. A dynamic set of controls (205 and 206) enables preset filtered views of the Gantt chart with preset time frames such as days, weeks, months and years or predetermined date ranges entered by a user. The preset filtered view can also automatically re-sort and scale content on the Gantt chart into a viewable area to reduce scrolling.

  • Patent number: 6026331
Abstract: A probe (1) is designed to propagate and radiate microwave electromagnetic energy in a controlled fashion. The probe (1) includes at least one waveguide (2) of cross-section which would not normally pass microwaves at the operational frequency. The waveguide (2) therefore includes dielectric material (5), such as alumina, in the form of a rod an exposed portion of which forms an antenna. The probe is preferably for use in endometrial ablation and therefore the reduced dimension of the waveguide can be made compatible with the narrow neck of the uterus.
