Publication number: 20260141353Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for managing tasks. An embodiment includes a database and a messaging server. The messaging server generates a task graphical user interface (GUI) that includes one or more parameters for a task in a stream. The stream has permissions specifying which role a user must have to access the stream. The messaging server receives, via the task GUI, a command specifying the one or more parameters. In response to the command, the messaging server generates metadata reflecting the one or more parameters as specified by the command. The messaging server stores the metadata in a database. The messaging server displays, at a client device, the task according to the metadata on a workspace GUI that includes at least one chat panel, at least one file panel, and at least one task panel.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 18, 2024Publication date: May 21, 2026Inventors: Raj FERNANDO, Nicholas STECH, Anatoliy YUDOVICH, Michael William BARRY, Angela Christine KOVACH, Harris Yegha DINGA

Publication number: 20250307212Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for managing folders. An embodiment includes a database and a messaging server. The messaging server generates a folder management graphical user interface (GUI) that includes a plurality of input fields for receiving commands. The messaging server and the folder management GUI receive a command from a global matter administrator to create a matter folder and permissions specifying which role a user must have to access the matter folder. The matter folder may carry at least one file and chat channel. In response to the command, the messaging server generates the matter folder in the database. The messaging server controls access to the matter folder as specified in the permissions such that the user is able to view or modify the at least one file and chat channel only if the user has a role allowed within the permissions.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 29, 2024Publication date: October 2, 2025Applicant: c/o WORKSTORM.COM LLCInventors: Raj FERNANDO, Anatoliy YUDOVICH, Michael BARRY, Nicholas STECH, Harris DINGA

Patent number: 8326734Abstract: A system and appertaining method are provided in which a brokerage firm transmits confidential information about security trading intentions to an anonymous server that follows through on a trade only if there is a likelihood that the trade can be completed. Pricing inputs are obtained that help a price engine determine pricing information for securities. The trade itself is executed by a primary trading system. If the trade is not completed, then the confidential information is not shared with a market maker or other purchasing or selling entity. When security is low and trust is high, for speed purposes, among other things, the anonymous server may be located with a market maker. When security is high and trust is low, any or all of the anonymous server, price engine, and primary trading system can be collocated on site with the broker in a secure environment.Type: GrantFiled: October 2, 2009Date of Patent: December 4, 2012Assignee: Automated Trading Desk, LLCInventors: Steve Swanson, Julian Greim, Nicholas Stech
