Publication number: 20240138622Abstract: A conical burr coffee grinder can include a hopper that receives coffee beans, a grinding arrangement beneath the hopper, and a removable container beneath the grinding arrangement. The grinding arrangement can include an inner conical burr within an outer conical burr. At least one conical burr can rotate with respect to the other to grind the coffee beans into coffee grounds and dispense the coffee grounds into the container. The coffee beans and coffee grounds can follow a substantially vertical path from the hopper through the grinding arrangement and into the container, which can be multipurpose. A rotor gear can be coupled to the inner conical burr such that the rotor gear and inner conical burr rotate together as a combined unit. Additional components can include a rotational motor, a geartrain, a removable hopper lid, a grind adjustment assembly, a chute, an ionizer, a base, and a safety switch.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 26, 2022Publication date: May 2, 2024Inventors: Andrew Hudak, Nicholas Terzulli, Patrick Donaghy, Matthew Flowers

Publication number: 20240001095Abstract: A two-part bioactive agent delivery system includes a disposable part, a reusable part, and a solvent removal element. The disposable part includes an agent reservoir, a transdermal patch communicating with the agent reservoir and adapted to transdermally deliver the bioactive agent to a user. The transdermal patch has a bottom surface adapted to contact skin of the user, a top surface opposite the bottom surface, and a gas permeable membrane disposed over the top surface of the transdermal patch. The reusable part includes a power source and control electronics that are adapted to deliver bioactive agent dissolved in a solvent from the agent reservoir to the transdermal patch. The solvent removal element includes a gap disposed between the disposable part and the reusable part to create a flow path for gaseous solvent to flow from the gas permeable membrane to ambient air around the bioactive agent delivery system.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 3, 2023Publication date: January 4, 2024Inventors: Ling-Kang TONG, Daniela Tamar BUCHMAN, Jackie Joe HANCOCK, Nicholas TERZULLI

Publication number: 20230264867Abstract: A portable beverage container lid can include a main outer housing, a slider top assembly coupled thereto, a carrier disposed therewithin, and beverage and vent seals coupled to the carrier. The main outer housing can include a beverage opening and a vent opening. The slider top assembly can slide laterally between open and closed positions. The carrier can move when the slider top assembly slides laterally. The beverage seal can close the beverage opening when the slider top assembly is in the closed position and allow the beverage to pass through the beverage opening when the slider top assembly is in the closed position. The vent seal can close the vent opening when the slider top assembly is in the closed position and allow air to pass through the vent opening when the slider top assembly is in the closed position. The beverage and vent seals can be actuated simultaneously.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 5, 2023Publication date: August 24, 2023Inventors: Pajnucci Vue, Nicholas Terzulli
