    Abstract: A ported coaxial cable is positioned atop or wound around a coil of barbed wire and is coextensive therewith. Radio frequency energy applied to the cable is randomly dispersed about the exterior of the coil. Variations in the reflected energy caused by intrusion of the area adjacent the coil, including the areas above or beneath the coil, are processed by detection system signal processing equipment to determine the incidence and location of intrusion events.

    Abstract: A physical deterrent barrier is utilized as an integral part of an intruder detection sensor that provides surveillance of intrusions in the air space over the barrier. The sensor is a corner reflecting antenna that is coextensive with and mounts on the top of the barrier and is integrated into a barbed wire topped chain link fence by arranging appropriately spaced parallel strands of barbed wire into a V configuration so as to effect an electrical corner reflector at the system operating frequency.

    Abstract: An RF intruder system utilizes two concentric loops of wire spaced apart for a predetermined magnitude, either of which can transmit and/or receive electromagnetic energy. This area within the loops are to be protected against intrusion. Without intrusion, the received signal is steady. Upon intrusion, there are signal changes which are instantly noted by signal detection and processing.
