  • Patent number: 12098097
Abstract: A method of preparing a gypsum-based product comprises the steps of mixing calcined gypsum with polymer particles and water to provide a slurry. The polymer particles comprise principally polyvinyl acetate, and have a particle size distribution, measured using laser diffractometry, such that particles having a diameter of 4.5 ?m or less provide at least 90% of the total particle volume.

  • Patent number: 12095272
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to method and apparatus for detecting grid islanding in a grid supporting voltage source converter. The method includes modulating an output voltage at an output of the grid supporting voltage source converter; determining at least one grid parameter at an input to the grid supporting voltage source converter; and detecting the grid islanding for the grid supporting voltage source converter based on the at least one grid parameter.

  • Patent number: 11317710
Abstract: A fluid delivery system for a dental cleaning appliance includes a nozzle for delivering a burst of working fluid to the teeth of a user, and a fluid conduit for conveying working fluid to the nozzle. A body of the nozzle defines a fluid chamber and a channel for conveying working fluid from the fluid chamber to a fluid outlet from the nozzle. The fluid chamber has a tangential inlet for receiving working fluid from the fluid conduit.

  • Publication number: 20180116774
Abstract: A dental cleaning appliance includes a nozzle having a fluid chamber, a fluid outlet and a channel extending between the fluid chamber and the fluid outlet. A water reservoir provides water to a pump for generating a burst of pressurized water, which is supplied to the nozzle by a fluid conduit. Following the delivery of the burst of water to the teeth of the user, a valve draws water back into the fluid chamber from the channel to prevent that water from dripping from the fluid outlet before the next water burst is generated by the pump. Simultaneously, air may be drawn into the fluid chamber, for example, through the fluid outlet, for mixing with the next water burst to generate a fluid burst for delivery to the user's teeth.

  • Patent number: 9108305
Abstract: A tool employable to install a garbage disposal supported in an elevated position by a mounting ring rotationally engaged to a sink flange extending from a drain. The device provides one or a plurality of handles extending from a supporting member adapted to cradle or engage with projections extending from the mounting ring. With the supporting member engaged to the mounting ring the user may employ two hands to lift the mounting ring and disposal and concurrently twist the mounting ring onto the sink flange.
