Publication number: 20180033266Abstract: Several methods and a system of automated motion disturbance detection and alerting are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method includes associating a protection device with a movable tangible personal property. The method also includes activating the protection device remotely. The method further includes detecting, through a sensor in the protection device, a motion disturbance of the movable tangible personal property. The method further includes automatically responding based on a set of user-specified preferences when an intensity of the motion disturbance exceeds a minimum threshold of a sensitivity associated with the protection device. The method furthermore includes relaying a confirmed motion disturbance of the movable tangible persona property to a user of the protection device. The method furthermore includes protecting the movable tangible personal property through the automatic response of the protection device.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 11, 2017Publication date: February 1, 2018Inventor: Nicholas Warren

Publication number: 20100314908Abstract: A ROPS-capable cab frame beltline support member for a vehicle cab frame which includes left and right rear corner posts. The beltline support member extends between the rear corner posts and is spaced apart above the lower ends of the posts. The support member includes first and second parts welded together. The support member includes a central portion, a left end fixed to the left rear corner post and a right end fixed to the right rear corner post. The central portion is offset rearwardly with respect to its left and right ends. The first part includes a midportion, a left flange portion and a right flange portion. The midportion has a C-shaped cross sectional shape. The midportion of the first part has a wider upper side, a back plate and a narrower lower side. The second part includes flanged ends and an elongated member having a first edge which engages an inner surface of the first part, and having a side surface which engages an edge of the first part.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 10, 2009Publication date: December 16, 2010Inventors: Robert Lee Wood, JR., Trace Dustin Landers, Wayne Douglas Mugge, Charles Nicholas Warren

Patent number: 7481287Abstract: A vehicle cooling package has a fan shroud mounted to a heat exchanger assembly. A diverter plate is mounted adjacent to the shroud and spaced therefrom with a fan interposed therebetween. A diverting surface of the shroud and the diverter plate are angled from the axis of the fan when the shroud and plate are assembled to the vehicle. A vehicle hood has upper and side surfaces each having air discharge apertures corresponding with the space between the diverting surface and the diverter plate when the hood is closed. The diverting surface and the diverter plate both extend fully to the hood assembly when the hood is closed. The angles of the diverting surface and the diverter plate closely match a natural discharge angle of the fan, so that air is discharged from the fan at a high velocity from under the hood through the air discharge apertures.Type: GrantFiled: April 2, 2004Date of Patent: January 27, 2009Assignee: Deere & CompanyInventors: Ricky Dean Madson, Andy Blaine Appleton, Clinton Lane Lafferty, Ronnie Franklin Burk, Dennis Aaron Bowman, Thomas Frederick Tock, Paul Thomas Bruss, Charles Nicholas Warren, Scott Keith Farlow, Matthew Robert Oliver
