Combination therapies can include, in addition to the anti-hyaluronan agent, a tumor-targeted taxane and, optionally, a chemotherapeutic agent such as a nucleoside analog. Combinations for performing the methods are provided, as are uses of the combinations for selecting subjects for treatment.
