  • Publication number: 20230356249
Abstract: A spraying system that includes at least one camera to determine for at least one nozzle spray angle, average of spray angle, standard deviation of spray angle, relative pressure, absolute pressure, relative flow rate, absolute flow rate, percent plugged, and/or spray pattern uniformity/variability of the spray from the at least one nozzle.

    Publication date: November 9, 2023
Inventors: Jason J. Stoller, Paul Wildermuth, Nicholas WINKLER
  • Publication number: 20230320342
Abstract: A system having: a boom; at least one nozzle assembly attached to the boom; and a nozzle or a second nozzle assembly; wherein the at least one nozzle assembly and the second nozzle assembly each comprise a nozzle and at least one light; wherein the at least one light is disposed to illuminate a spray from an adjacent nozzle assembly or nozzle.

    Publication date: October 12, 2023
Inventors: Nicholas Winkler, Paul Wildermuth, Justin McMenamy
  • Publication number: 20230328397
Abstract: A system having a boom; a plurality of cameras attached to the boom; and a plurality of lenses on each camera; wherein not all lenses have a same field of view.
    Type: Application

    Publication date: October 12, 2023
    Inventors: Nicholas Winkler, Paul Wildermuth
  • Publication number: 20230320341
Abstract: A system comprising a boom, a plurality of nozzles disposed along the boom, a light disposed on the boom to illuminate a spray pattern from at least one nozzle, a camera disposed on the boom to capture a first image of a spray from the at least one nozzle at a first time and a second image of no spray from the at least one nozzle at a second time, and a processor to calculate a difference between the first time and second time to determine a pulse width modulation of the at least one nozzle.
    Type: Application
    Filed: October 15, 2021
    Publication date: October 12, 2023
Inventors: Nicholas Winkler, Jason J. Stoller
  • Publication number: 20230173415
Abstract: An automated computer-controlled sampling system and related methods for collecting, processing, and analyzing agricultural samples for various chemical properties such as plant available nutrients. The sampling system allows multiple samples to be processed and analyzed for different analytes or chemical properties in a simultaneous concurrent or semi-concurrent manner. Advantageously, the system can process soil samples in the “as collected” condition without drying or grinding. The system generally includes a sample preparation sub-system which receives soil samples collected by a probe collection sub-system and produces a slurry (i.e. mixture of soil, vegetation, and/or manure and water), and a chemical analysis sub-system which processes the prepared slurry samples for quantifying multiple analytes and/or chemical properties of the sample. The sample preparation and chemical analysis sub-systems can be used to analyze soil, vegetation, and/or manure samples.
    Type: Application
    Filed: April 7, 2021
    Publication date: June 8, 2023
Inventors: Todd Swanson, Nicholas Minarich, Nicholas WINKLER
