Abstract: Improvements in a bollard speaker with in-ground subwoofer where the bollard contains a first speaker for higher frequencies and the subwoofer that provides lower frequencies that emit from below ground up through the bollard through a grill in the middle or upper portion of the bollard. The in-ground subwoofer provides a structural foundation for the bollard. Placing the subwoofer in an underground housing allows for larger speaker sizes for improved lower frequency response without trying to produce low frequency sounds in a constrained vertical bollard housing pole. The same base subwoofer is used with interchangeable bollards that accommodate both a cylindrical and a square or rectangular above ground bollard. The speaker within the bollard is configurable for omni-directional or directional sound transmission.

Abstract: A speaker back box that provides an enclosure with a finite internal volume that is configured to retain a speaker behind an outer surface of a wall. The enclosure is sized with a depth to fit between opposing sides of a wall surface and width that is sized to fit between vertical studs. The box has side flanges that are configured for securing the box on studs and behind a drywall or sheetrock facing. The box has a recess for securing shims that provide a planar surface that can be adjusted with one or more shims to make the outer surface parallel with the finished wall surface. This allows the speaker back box to accommodate a variety of surface finishes from simple painting to tile or rock face. The finite internal volume allows the box to be tuned to mounted speakers and minimizes sound pressure inside the wall.

Abstract: Improvements in a reusable locating bracket for a recessed speaker or light bracket is disclosed. The bracket matches the hole diameter for a speaker of light. The bracket is installed prior to installation of drywall and is used as a trim guide. After installation of the drywall and cutting or trimming of the opening, the bracket is folded, bent, rotated or articulated where it can be removable through the trimmed opening in the drywall or sheet rock. The bracket has folding hinges for retaining side supports. The side supports are typically strips of cardboard, chip board or other material that provides a span from the bracket to studs, joists or beams. The folding hinges have teeth that grip the cardboard and can be opened to pull the cardboard through the retainer.

Separate upper and lower board elements may each include pathway indicia on a surface, one being selectively movable among a plurality of predetermined positions relative to the other. Methods for game play may include placing a player mover on a pathway, changing one or more pathways by moving the selectively movable surface from one position to another, and moving the player mover from one board element to the other board element along the continuous pathway.
