Abstract: A system and method for enabling law students and lawyers to correctly format legal citations used in legal documents by accessing a web-application and choosing the format and type of legal source desired. After filling in the components of the citation, the present invention transforms the data real-time into the correct citation. These citations can be imported into legal documents, edited in the future, saved into custom citation libraries, and shared with other users. These functions provide greater flexibility and accuracy in the creation of legal citations and results in a custom database for users that can be access anywhere and at any time.
