Abstract: Systems and methods for managing power at a wellsite. A system includes well construction equipment, power equipment, a power manager, power equipment sensors operable to output power equipment sensor data indicative of operational status of the power equipment, and a human-machine interface usable by a human user to enter power management settings. The power manager is operable to receive the power equipment sensor data and receive the power management settings, wherein each power management setting is associated with a corresponding mode of operation of the power manager. The power manager is further operable to, for each power management setting, change the mode of operation of the power manager to the mode of operation associated with that power management setting, and for each mode of operation, cause the power equipment to supply electrical power to the well construction equipment in a predetermined manner with respect to that mode of operation.

Abstract: An exemplary embodiment provides for a computer-implemented method for prior opted-in call acceptance-assisted message delivery. The method includes receiving a destination number, of a called party, for a telephone call from an inmate in a secure facility, determining, based on the destination number, if the called party had opted-in to automatically be connected to telephone calls from the secure facility and connecting the telephone call to the called party, if opted-in. Also, if the called party is not available to receive the call, receiving a message for the called party from the inmate.

Abstract: A system and a method are provided for two-way communications, automated request handling, and push notifications, via SMS, MMS, IM, email, and other electronic messaging systems, between (1) residents confined to a secure facility, such as a jail or a prison, and (2) persons located outside the secure facility who have friendly or family relationships with the confined residents.

In one aspect, a method includes receiving a request from a user to access a communications terminal, the request including a first authentication provided by the user, and verifying the first authentication provided by the user. The method also includes identifying the user based on the verified first authentication, determining, based on an actual location of the communications terminal, that the user is restricted from accessing the communications terminal, and requesting a second authentication from the user when the user is attempting to access the communications terminal from an unauthorized or undocumented location. The method further includes receiving the second authentication from the user, verifying the second authentication provided by the user, and providing access to the user to the communications terminal based on the verified second authentication.
