Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to delivering real time navigation and itinerary guidance in response to semantic information associated with at least one target situs located within a building. In an illustrative example, a handheld device operator may input the semantic information about at least one desired situs destination. In some embodiments, the operator may input semantic information for each of two desired situs locations, respectively, in two situs buildings. Time-dependent itinerary information displayed to the operator on the handheld device may include, for example, estimated arrival time, dwell time, and/or departure time in order to maintain a user-defined itinerary schedule. For example, a server may deliver time dependent situs semantic and mapping information to a mobile device in response to a user request containing semantic information associated with the situs. The mapping information may guide the operator through the building to the situs.
