  • Publication number: 20170286578
Abstract: A non-transitory machine-readable medium of a computing device storing an application for simulating the loading of an airframe. The application includes an airframe input module that receives an airframe file having a seat having a seat location and a bin having a bin location and a bin dimensions. The application further includes a passenger profile input module that receives a passenger profile file having a list of passenger profiles, a passenger selection module that selects a passenger from the list of passenger profiles and associates the passenger with the seat, a bag selection module that selects a bag profile from a bag profile file and associates it with the passenger, a bag placement module that simulates placing the bag into the bin based on the bin dimensions, bin location, and bag profile, and an output module that outputs and stores a simulation output associating the bag and the bin.

  • Patent number: 9428132
Abstract: An airbag system assembly configured to be positioned in the interior of a vehicle that includes an aft wall configured to be positioned forward of a passenger seat and an airbag system. The aft wall includes front and aft surfaces and the aft wall includes a first flap that is formed by a plurality of weakness lines in at least the front surface thereof. The airbag system includes at least a first airbag module having a first airbag support plate with front and aft surfaces. The first airbag support plate is secured to the front surface of the aft wall, and the first airbag support plate includes a first airbag that is configured to deploy in the event of a crash condition and that is disposed on the aft surface of the first airbag support plate. The first airbag is positioned adjacent the first flap.

  • Publication number: 20110253837
Abstract: A bin assembly that includes a bin housing and a bin that is pivotal between an open and a closed position within the bin housing. The bin housing includes a forward bulkhead panel, aft bulkhead panel and an aft housing panel that includes a rigid valence panel having one of a latch striker or a latch assembly secured thereto. The rigid valence panel has opposite ends that are secured to the forward and aft bulkhead panels. The bin includes an aft wall, a forward wall, a bin bottom and the other of a latch striker or a latch assembly secured to the bin bottom, thereby defining a latching location. A downward load in the bin is distributed from the latching location, along the rigid valence panel and to the aft and forward bulkhead panels.

  • Patent number: 7001723
Abstract: The present invention provides catalytic RNA molecules having cis or trans aminoacylation activity. The catalytic RNA molecules having cis aminoacylation activity comprise a catalytic domain and an aminoacylation domain. The catalytic RNA molecules having trans aminoacylation activity only have the catalytic domain. A method is provided for constructing and screening of these molecules. These molecules are suitable for aminoacylating tRNA-like molecules with specific amino acids.

  • Publication number: 20040191057
Abstract: A cooling fan with dust-filtering function is provided. The cooling fan at least comprises a fan base, a fan module, a filter frame and a filtering unit. The fan bas has an air inlet and an air outlet. The fan module is set up within the fan base. The filter frame is detachably attached to the fan base and the filtering unit is set up within the filter frame such that the filtering unit covers the air inlet. A user is free to remove the filter frame along with the filtering unit for a cleanup and assemble the filter frame onto the fan base thereafter. Hence, the filtering unit can be cleaned and reused to provide the cooling fan with a constant cooling capacity and a longer working life.
