Abstract: An example extrusion storage is provided. The extrusion storage includes an extrusion component used in extruding food material from a micro-puree machine. The extrusion storage includes an extrusion lid of the micro-puree machine. The extrusion lid is configured to protect at least one internal component of the micro-puree machine when a processing bowl of the micro-puree machine is removed. A container stores the extrusion component and the extrusion lid of the micro-puree machine. A first side of the container is configured to internally receive and protect the extrusion component. A second side of the container is configured to be coupled to the extrusion lid resulting in an assembled container. The assembled container is attached to the micro-puree machine.

Abstract: An exemplary processing bowl for a micro-puree machine is provided. The processing bowl includes an extrusion nozzle configured to extrude processed ingredients from the processing bowl. The extrusion nozzle includes an inlet arranged to receive the processed ingredient from the processing bowl and an outlet arranged to output the processed ingredients from the extrusion nozzle. A drip stop, coupled to the extrusion nozzle, is configured to close the outlet in a closed position to block extrusion of the processed ingredients and open the outlet in an open position to allow extrusion of the processed ingredients.

Abstract: An automated additive assembly for a micro-puree machine has a body including a reservoir configured for holding an additive ingredient. A channel is defined through the body, and a passage is in fluid communication with the reservoir and the channel. A plunger is configured for movement within the reservoir. Movement of the plunger within the reservoir in a first direction forces the additive ingredient through the channel such that the additive ingredient is combined with the processed ingredients extruded through the nozzle.
