    Abstract: A liquid distribution system is configured to deliver a disinfectant solution to a medical device within an enclosure. A disinfectant concentration measuring subsystem includes a mixing chamber, a reservoir, a reservoir cap, a pump, and a concentration analysis assembly. The first mixing chamber is in fluid communication with an outlet of the liquid distribution system. The reservoir is configured to contain a reagent solution and is in fluid communication with the mixing chamber. The reservoir cap includes a static member, which is configured to couple with a supply conduit and a return conduit; and a rotating member, which is configured to rotate relative to the static member to couple the reservoir cap with the reservoir. The pump is configured to simultaneously pump the disinfectant solution and the reagent solution into the mixing chamber. The concentration analysis assembly is operable to determine a concentration of disinfectant output from the mixing chamber.

The lid and an interior surface of the decontamination basin are configured to cooperate to house a medical device when in the lid is in the closed configuration. The cleaning assembly is operable to clean a medical device housed in the decontamination basin. The actuating panel assembly is configured to transition between a withdrawn position and an extended position. The actuating panel assembly is configured to be enclosed by the lid and the interior surface of the decontamination basin in the withdrawn position. The actuating panel assembly is configured to extend above a portion of the exterior body while the actuating panel assembly is in the extended position.

The enclosure is configured to hold a medical instrument. The liquid distribution system is configured to deliver a disinfection solution to a medical instrument within the enclosure. The liquid distribution system has a liquid outlet. The disinfectant concentration measuring subsystem includes a first mixing chamber in fluid communication with the liquid outlet, a pump that is configured to simultaneously pump the disinfection solution and the reagent solution into the first mixing chamber, and a concentration analysis assembly that is operable to determine a concentration of disinfectant in a sample solution that is output from the first mixing chamber. The reservoir is in fluid communication with the first mixing chamber.

    Abstract: A method for attaching a test fixture to a surgical instrument comprising removing a valve member from a valve chamber of a surgical instrument and removing another valve member from another valve chamber of the surgical instrument. The method further comprises inserting a valve member analogue extending from a frame of a test figure into the valve chamber, wherein the valve member analogue comprises a first seal and a second seal, and wherein the first and second seals are configured to seal at least a portion of the valve chamber of the surgical instrument. The method further comprises inserting another valve member analogue extending from the frame, wherein the valve member analogue and the another valve member analogue define a longitudinal axis extending substantially therebetween. The method further comprises securing the test fixture to the surgical instrument by moving the housing substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis into a locked position.

The test fixture can comprise, first, a frame having a first gripping portion and a valve member analog extending from the frame, and, second, a housing having a second gripping portion movable relative to the frame between a locked position and an unlocked position, wherein the second gripping portion is configured to be moved toward the first gripping portion to position the housing in its unlocked position. The second gripping portion can be configured to be moved away from the first gripping portion to position the housing in its locked position such that the housing can engage a locking feature on the endoscope.

The reprocessor can also include a system for supplying a metered amount of fluid to the fluid circulation system.
