  • Publication number: 20170245690
Abstract: A container configured for use with a food processing system includes a container body configurable with a food processing base. The container body includes an interior wall and an exterior wall arranged in contact at a first end. The interior wall and the exterior wall are formed from a single piece of non-resilient material. A chamber is defined by the container body. A collar is mounted to the first end of the container body to form a seal between the collar and the contact between the interior wall and the exterior wall.

  • Publication number: 20170245689
Abstract: A food processing system includes a food processing base. A first container and a second container separate from the first container are configured for use with said food processing base. The first container includes at least one first wall configured to define a first chamber therein. The at least one first wall is formed from a first material. The second container includes at least one second wall configured to define a second chamber therein. The at least one second wall is formed from a second material different than said first material. A cutting assembly is compatible with both the first container and the second container. The cutting assembly is configured to process food within the first chamber when the first container is coupled to the food processing base and the cutting assembly is configured to process food within the second chamber when the second container is coupled to the food processing base.

  • Patent number: 6964223
Abstract: Plunger (10) for brewing a drink in a cup (12) includes two main components, a filter disc (20) and a frame (22). The filter disc (20) is shaped to extend across and abut an inside surface (24) of the cup (12). The frame (22) is dimensioned so that it can be wholly inserted into the cup (12) to be disposed below a mouth (18) of the cup. This allows a drink such as coffee or tea to be brewed in the cup from which it is to be consumed without the plunger (10) interfering with the drinking of the drink. The disc (20) is supported on the frame (22) to slide along upright posts (22). Thus the disc (20) can be pushed toward the bottom or (14) of the cup (12) that contain particulate materials such as coffee grounds or tea leaves used in brewing the drink. A heat shield (58) may be also supported on the frame (22) to minimise the rate of heat loss of a hot drink brewed in the cup (12) using the plunger (10).
