The flange portion is also oriented outward from a top edge of the plurality of side walls of the recessed portion. The plug member fits into the recessed portion of the tray member. At least one opening in the base provides visual inspection of the plug member when located in the recessed portion. The product serves to plug a hole left behind by a static roof vent when converting to other methods of roof ventilation. Generally, the product can be used to fill any holes in the roof deck sized 8?×8? or 12?×12?.
