Patent number: 11400778Abstract: A trailer positioning apparatus for aiding in aligning a trailer with a tow vehicle is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a pinion plate which is attached to the landing gear of a trailer; and a rack plate for contacting the ground. The rack plate and pinion plate are pivotally attached at one end. At another end, a pinion engages a series of holes in the rack plate in order to create relative movement between the rack plate and the pinion plate when a force is applied by a user. The trailer may be moved into alignment with the tow vehicle, simplifying the process of attaching the trailer to the tow vehicle.Type: GrantFiled: October 11, 2020Date of Patent: August 2, 2022Inventor: Nick Taylor

Publication number: 20220185540Abstract: The instrument tray indicator system includes a three-dimensional indicia associated with a least a portion of an instrument tray carrying at least one medical component. The three-dimensional indicia has a structure symbolic of the at least one medical component within the instrument tray, and the three-dimensional indicia is of a size and shape to provide external tactile feedback of the structure of the three-dimensional indicia through a sterile wrapping sealing an interior of the instrument tray with the at least one medical component therein. This allows one to identify the at least one medical component within the instrument tray without removing the sterile wrapping.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 16, 2021Publication date: June 16, 2022Inventors: Sylvia Sorensen, Eric M. Dacus, Zachary Kay, Nick Taylor

Patent number: 11136054Abstract: A foot lever assist mechanism permits transport dollies to be more heavily loaded, saving the worker additional trips to deliver the entire supply. The lever assist is preferably secured to the axle using at least one boss. An auxiliary feature of this lever assist is the provision of a telescoping ladder-like extender for supporting beverage kegs. A toe grab allows the workman to tilt the stack of cases off of the hand truck's support platform and pull the bottom of the hand truck from beneath the load. Brakes are also provided to resist the hand truck's tendency to move rearwardly when tilting is attempted.Type: GrantFiled: May 8, 2018Date of Patent: October 5, 2021Inventors: Nick Taylor, James P. McShane
