  • Publication number: 20090229490
Abstract: A method for producing paints, especially by mixing predetermined amounts of coloring products with basic varnish products, involves the following steps: (a) preparation of a liquid monobasic component containing predetermined amounts of a binding element and a filler element, the proportion of said amounts depending upon the final desired quality of paint; and (b) addition of predetermined amounts of at least one liquid component selected from the group including a liquid component comprising TiO2 titanium white and a liquid component containing a filler to a liquid monobasic product, in keeping with proportional formulations which are optimized according to the final coloration of the paint thus desired. In order to obtain final paint colorations which are different from white, predetermined amounts of liquid components containing coloring pigments are added to the liquid monobasic component.

  • Publication number: 20080169273
Abstract: A laser cavity is particularly provided for a laser welding apparatus or welder. A resonator is provided having an exciting light source and a laser rod excited by the light source as well as a mirror member for producing an output laser beam. A shield member having a through opening is movably mounted between a working position, in which the shield member intercepts the laser beam in a region of the through opening, and a rest position, in which the shield member does not interfere with the laser beam. An electrical motor may be provided with an output shaft cooperating with a support member mounted to the output shaft, and supporting the shield member. A programmable electronic control unit can be used for controlling the electrical motor based on the power of the laser beam to control the position of the shield member.

  • Publication number: 20040235988
Abstract: A method for producing paints, especially by mixing predetermined amounts of colouring products with basic varnish products, comprising the following phases: (a) preparation of a liquid monobasic component comprising predetermined amounts of a binding element and a filler element, the proportion of said amounts depending upon the final desired quality of paint; and (b) addition of predetermined accounts of at least one liquid component selected from the group including a liquid component comprising TiO2 titanium white and a liquid component comprising a filler to a liquid monobasic product, in keeping with proportional formulations which are optimised according to the final coloration of the paint thus desired. In order to obtain final paint colorations which are different from white, predetermined amounts of liquid components containing colouring pigments are added to the liquid monobasic component.

  • Patent number: 6157004
Abstract: A heating or preheating furnace for lining cylinders made of refractory material, where those cylinders are particularly designed to act as molds for the lost wax casting of precious metals, semiprecious metals, base metals or titanium or alloys thereof in order to obtain small items, dental prostheses, jewelry and costume jewelry items in general by precision casting. The furnace includes a bed, a hearth portion or base supporting the bed, an upper dome-shaped portion arranged to rest on the hearth portion to delimit a heating or firing chamber therewith, first driving means suitable for producing a relative motion between the dome-shaped portion and the hearth portion between a closed position, in which the dome-shaped portion rests on the hearth portion, and an open position, in which the dome-shaped portion is raised above the hearth portion, heating means carried by the dome-shaped portion, and a program control unit.

  • Patent number: 5685360
Abstract: The casting apparatus has a case defining a casting chamber having an open front provided with a door, and a crucible locatable in the chamber for containing metal loads to be cast. An electrode extends through a wall of the chamber and is connectable to a power source for the formation of an electric arc between the electrode and the load in the crucible. A coupling connects the inside of the chamber to a source of pressurized inert gas or to a vacuum pump. A tubular element for containing a mold is removably accommodatable in the chamber at an opening, which is connected to the atmosphere by a vent valve. A fluid-activated jack is provided for tilting the case for pouring molten metal, from the crucible to the mold contained in the tubular element.
