  • Patent number: 11916835
Abstract: A method, performed in a User Equipment (UE), is disclosed. The method is for facilitating the establishing of a UE processing configuration for the selective enhancement of radio signals received or transmitted by the UE. The method comprises receiving from a Transmission Point (TP) of a wireless network an indication that an identified reference signal is usable by the UE for establishing a UE processing configuration, and receiving the identified reference signal from a Transmission Point of the wireless network.

  • Publication number: 20240003086
Abstract: A method for determining a property of a fiber suspension comprises obtaining a sample and diluting the sample by a first dilution, thereby providing a diluted sample, while retaining essentially all of the sample, and mixing the diluted sample, thereby providing a mixed, diluted sample. By removing part of the mixed, diluted sample and retaining an amount of the mixed, diluted sample, further diluting the mixed, diluted sample by adding dilution water to the retained amount of the mixed, diluted sample, thereby providing a further diluted sample, while retaining essentially all of the mixed, diluted sample, mixing the further diluted sample, thereby providing a mixed, further diluted sample, and repeating these steps until the concentration is suitable for measuring the property of the further diluted sample, this property can be measured with high accuracy. A device for determining a property to be determined of a suspension is also provided.

  • Patent number: 10794797
Abstract: A device for sampling, preparing and analysing a sample, for example a suspension, comprises: a sampling device adapted to sampling a fluid sample, at least one sample preparation unit adapted to prepare the sample, and at least one analysing unit. By adapting the device for sampling and analysing a sample for placement in direct vicinity to a process pipe and adapting the sampling device to sample a fluid sample directly from a gate, a compact and cost-efficient device is provided, which also provides fast feedback to a process to be controlled.

  • Patent number: 10054539
Abstract: A method of determining a property of a heterogeneous medium in motion comprising at least two phases is provided. A light beam is made small in relation to a part of the medium for which a property is to be determined and the bandwidth of the measurement signal is sufficiently high for distinguishing time periods for the measurement signal which are related to the part of the medium for which a property is to be determined. By using the measurement signal for determining the property of the part of the medium for which a property is to be determined for time periods for the measurement signal which are related to that part of the medium, and determining the property by a mathematical calculation using the measurement signal corresponding to that part of the medium, the properties of individual parts of the medium can be determined.

  • Patent number: 8171776
Abstract: A torque measuring device for determining properties such as viscosity, shearing force or concentration in liquids or suspensions. The device comprises two elastically connected concentric axles in the form of one external hollow axle through which an inner measuring axle extends, and an element responsive to the measured medium located on a distal end of the measuring axle. The axles are individually propelled by electrical motors. The motors are operated such that the axles rotate at generally constant speed and, simultaneously, the phase between the two are controlled irrespective of applied speed and torque. The torque is measured through the degree of load of the motor propelling the inner axle, which is provided as an output signal.

  • Publication number: 20100162799
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for a torque meter for determining of for example viscosity, shearing force or concentration of liquids or suspensions, and comprising two elastically connected concentric axles, one external hollow axle (6) through which an inner meter axle (5) extends, on which latter an element (4) responsive to the measurement medium (3) is located. According to the invention the axles (6, 5) are propelled by an electrical motor (9, 10), said motors are at least on average continuously propelled at equal rotational speed at the same time the phase between the two is being controlled irrespective of the applied speed and torque, wherein the torque is possible to measure through the degree of load at the motor (10) propelling the inner axle (5), which is transformable to a suitable out signal.

  • Publication number: 20100132900
Abstract: The invention refers to a method for determination brightness of paper pulp by measuring fluorescence from UV. The measurement is carried out directly in the pipe in which the paper pulp, which shall constitute the paper, is fed forward, by an in-line brightness meter, which also is capable to measure fluorescent substances in the paper pulp, a direct control of the partial stages in the paper pulp process where fluorescent substances can exist or a determination at the end of the process can be accomplished.
