  • Publication number: 20190323885
Abstract: A device for determining a position of at least one object is described, the device including an emitter array, which is configured to cover a field of view of the device, and which includes at least two emitters, which are situated on a support element, each emitter being configured to cover an illumination area. The device provides that the emitters are individually controllable, the illumination area of the emitters being disjunctive and covering the field of view of the device.

  • Publication number: 20190235084
Abstract: A LIDAR system includes a monolithic frequency-stabilized semiconductor laser having a linear thermal wavelength shift and a bandpass filter that is configured to effectuate a thermal wavelength shift that does not deviate from the linear thermal wavelength shift of the semiconductor laser by more than 40%, and a temperature stabilization of the semiconductor laser can be dispensed with by the use of the invention. The LIDAR system can be provided in a control system that includes a control unit that controls obstacle avoidance of a motor vehicle based on an obstacle distance determined by the LIDAR system.

  • Publication number: 20180120421
Abstract: A LIDAR sensor for detecting an object within a sensing region and a method for activating a LIDAR sensor. The LIDAR sensor includes at least one transmitting unit. The transmitting unit includes at least one source for emitting electromagnetic radiation, and at least one deflection unit for deflecting the electromagnetic radiation emitted by the source into the sensing region along a deflection direction. The transmitting unit further includes at least one transmit filter element for filtering the electromagnetic radiation deflected by the deflection unit, which the electromagnetic radiation strikes along a transmit filter input direction. The transmission behavior of the transmit filter element is a function of the transmit filter input direction.
