  • Publication number: 20160271343
Abstract: Portable nebulizer apparatus for medical use, comprising a mesh arranged so as to intercept an internal fluid path which leads into a dispenser outlet, and an oscillator element which causes said mesh to oscillate, the mesh being integrated in an extractable mesh assembly housed between a first and a second half-casing, the half-casings being movable in relation to each other between a coupled operational configuration and a separated configuration which allows access to the mesh assembly.

  • Publication number: 20150151058
Abstract: Mesh (1) for nebulizer apparatus for medical applications, with a structure which is particularly rigid and easy to fix in position inside the nebulizer apparatus, comprising a vibratile foil (10) crossed by a plurality of nebulizing holes (11) and a peripheral embossed edge (12) integral with the vibratile foil (10).

  • Patent number: 6796513
Abstract: The nebulizer vial for aerosol therapy comprising a tube fed at a first end with compressed air, the tube being constricted at its second end prior to the relative exit orifice to obtain a venturi effect. The orifice of the tube emerges from the free surface of a solution of an aerosol therapy medicament, a nozzle being concentrically mounted on the second end of the tube such that between the tube and nozzle there remains an interspace communicating with the solution. A flow breaker device is provided above the orifice of the nozzle. The vial is provided with an exit for the formed aerosol and an inlet for entry of external air as a result of suction exerted by the patient on the exit. For diameter parity of the orifice of the nozzle, elements are provided to vary the distance between the nozzle orifice and the flow breaker device.

Abstract: The neblizer vial (10) for aerosol therapy comprises a tube (14) fed at a first end with compressed air, the tube (14) being constricted at its second end prior to the relative exit orifice (16) to obtain a venturi effect. The orifice (16) of the tube (14) emerges from the free surface of a solution (22) of an aerosol therapy medicament, a nozzle (18) being concentrically mounted on the second end of the tube (14) such that between the tube (14) and nozzle (18) there remains an interspace (20) communicating with the solution (22). A flow breaker device (26) is provided above the orifice (30) of the nozzle (18). The vial (10) is provided with an exit (34) for the formed aerosol and an inlet (24) for entry of external air as a result of suction exerted by the patient on the exit (34). For diameter parity of the orifice (30) of the nozzle (18), means are provided to vary the distance between the nozzle orifice (30) and the flow breaker device (26).

  • Patent number: 5803362
Abstract: An ultrasonic aerosol apparatus having a piezoelectric element which generates ultrasonic signals in response to signals received from an oscillating circuit, where the temperature of the piezoelectric element is controlled by an electronic device such as an N.T.C. thermistor. The temperature control device senses the temperature of the piezoelectric element and controls the power fed to the oscillator circuit in accordance with the temperature of the piezoelectric element. Rather than cut power completely to the oscillator circuit (thereby interrupting the atomization process of the apparatus), the temperature control device reduces power fed to the oscillator circuit when the piezoelectric element temperature rises above a predetermined value, and increases power fed to the oscillator circuit when the piezoelectric element temperature falls below a predetermined value. Leakage of liquids (e.g.
