  • Patent number: 8821206
Abstract: The invention relates to a flotation device for use in retrieving an object that is dropped in water. According to the invention the flotation device comprises attachment means and a holder that is resistant in regard of spray water and atmospheric humidity. The holder comprises an inflatable body of a substantially waterproof and air-impervious material, and gas-forming reagents within the inflatable body. The inflatable body is sealed off from the rest of the interior of the holder by means of a narrow seal. In the event of activation of the flotation device, water ingresses in the holder and through the seal and comes into contact with the gas-forming reagents. The formation of gas required for the exertion of a flotation or driving force occurs within the inflatable body itself. The formed gas inflates the inflatable body.

  • Patent number: 8737175
Abstract: A chronograph comprises a main dial with coaxially placed main hands group and at least one sub dial, placed within the main dial, with a therein coaxially placed main hands group. The invention is characterized in that at least one sub hands group displays an indication of current time and the main hands group displays an indication of chrono time. A first preferred form of implementation provides that the sub dial is placed decentralized within the main dial. A second preferred form of implementation provides that the sub hands group is placed coaxially with the main dial; the main dial and main hands group are partially covered by the sub dial; and the sub hands group is coaxially with the main hands group.

  • Patent number: 7227579
Abstract: The quality of recorded images with for example a high speed camera can be detoriated by light modulation which is a consequence of for example gas-discharge lamps running at a lower frequency with respect to the camera. A camera according to the invention provides light modulation removal by handling fields of the image different depending on the light modulation.

  • Patent number: 3932289
Abstract: A process is disclosed for preparing overbased carbonated sulfurized magnesium alkylphenates. In the process, magnesium methoxide is carbonated and then contacted with an alkylphenol to form a normal magnesium phenate. The normal magnesium phenate is sulfurized and then contacted with an additional amount of carbonated magnesium methoxide to form the overbased sulfurized magnesium phenate.
