    Abstract: The invention relates to a preparation comprising 5-50% by weight of Isphagula Husk; 1-20% by weight of at least one amino acid; 20-80% by weight of at least one carbohydrate and electrolytes. The preparation is for use as a therapeutical agent, such as for use in treating a state of disorder in the intestinal system of monogastric animals, including humans. A state of disorder in the intestinal system is in particular all intestinal disorders in which the epithelial layer is damaged, mostly as a result of malabsorption diarrhoea, also associated with dehydration.
