  • Patent number: 9709361
Abstract: A seeker head for a guided missile has an outer casing, a detector unit with a matrix detector, and an optical system for depicting an object from an object scene surrounding the guided missile on the matrix detector. The optical system contains entrance optics and an optical link. The seek head further has a rolling-pitching system with a rolling frame and a pitching frame for aligning at least the entrance optics with the object. In order to be able to detect even objects that are far away and radiating weakly when the guided missile is rolling, it is proposed that the detector unit is arranged on the rolling frame for conjoint rolling.

  • Patent number: 8786758
Abstract: An image of a surrounding area is projected onto a detector of a detector device by way of an optical system that produces an imaging beam path. A screen is disposed in the imaging beam path and the screen shadows a subarea of the image of the surrounding area on the detector. In order to allow an object which is dazzling the detector device to be masked out and nevertheless to allow the surrounding area to be monitored, the screen is subdivided into a plurality of segments which can be operated individually, and segments which are associated with the subarea are selected and operated, and are in this way heated. The transmission of the selected segments is reduced by the heating throughout the frequency range in which the detector is sensitive, and the selected segments of the screen thus shadow the subarea of the image.

  • Patent number: 8547473
Abstract: A surrounding area is imaged onto a detector of a detector device. An optical system produces an imaging beam path and a panel, which is arranged in the imaging beam path, shadows a subarea of the image of the surrounding area on the detector. In order to mask out an object which would dazzle the detector device, while nevertheless being able to monitor the surrounding area, the panel is illuminated in a subarea, and the transmission of the panel in the subarea is reduced by the illumination in the entire frequency range in which the detector is sensitive. The illuminated subarea of the panel shadows the selected subarea of the image.

  • Patent number: 6984274
Abstract: An explosive composition comprises a porous fuel and an oxidizer. The porous fuel is a solid with a structure size measuring between about 2 nm and 1000 nm and has a porosity that lies between 10% and 98%. The oxidizer is solid or liquid at room temperature and is incorporated into the pores of the porous fuel. The oxidizer is selected, in an amount of at least 50% by weight relative to a total quantity of the oxidizer, from the group consisting of hydrogen peroxide, hydroxyl ammonium nitrate, organic nitro compounds or nitrates, alkali metal nitrates or earth alkali metal nitrates as well as metal nitrites, metal chlorates, metal perchlorates, metal bromates, metal iodates, metal oxides, metal peroxides, ammonium perchlorate, ammonium nitrate and mixtures thereof.
