Abstract: The invention relates to a packaging and dispensing device for applying a cosmetic and/or care product, in particular to the hair and/or the scalp, the device comprising a receptacle including a bellows having first and second regions that are moved towards each other when the bellows is compressed. On being compressed, the bellows enables a quantity of substance to be dispensed. The device also has an adjustment member for modifying the compression stroke of the bellows, and thus the quantity of substance that is dispensed. The device is arranged in such a manner that the bellows is compressed by thrust exerted by the user substantially on the axis of the bellows.

Abstract: A dispensing head and a dispenser equipped with this head for dispensing a liquid product. The dispensing head including a band having an open end fixed to a reservoir which contains the product and is equipped with a dispensing valve, and a push-button intended to control the opening of the valve. The push-button having an actuating surface and a dispensing orifice in communication with the valve. A device is provided for positioning the push-button with respect to the band and for selectively positioning the push-button in an actuating position which allows product to be dispensed, or in a locked position to prevent the valve from being actuated. The push button and the band are configured in such a way that the push-button can be mounted and removed only through the open end of the band.

Abstract: An assembly includes a first element provided with a snap-fitting bead; and a second element having a snap-fitting lip, capable of passing over the snap-fitting bead so as to allow the second element to be mounted on the first element so that it can rotate freely. The assembly includes structure for allowing the snap-fitting lip to pass over the snap-fitting bead when the assembly is fitted together. By rotating the first element with respect to the second, the structure for allowing the lip to pass over the snap-fitting bead is inoperative for taking the assembly apart.

Abstract: The invention relates to a dispensing head for a product of a liquid to viscous consistency, as well as a dispensing unit fitted on this head. This head has a rigid cap capable of being fixed on a reservoir for the product. An elastic flow reducing element is joined to the cap and is fitted with at least one slit provided with edges capable of moving away from one another under the thrust of the product and of returning to an initial position when the thrust stops. In the initial position, the edges of the slit are noncontiguous and are spaced from one another at a predetermined distance so as to define an opening through which the product cannot flow to any appreciable extent by gravity, substantially reducing the thrust to be applied for causing the product to emerge.

Abstract: A device for separately packaging two components to be mixed together on first use, and for dispensing the resulting mixture, the device being of the type comprising two superposed containers suitable for communicating with each other via a passage and capable of rotating relative to each other about an axis of rotation without moving axially, a single shutter disposed in said passage to close it during separate storage of the components, one of the containers further including a guide mechanism for guiding displacement of the shutter in said passage and the other container including a drive mechanism for transforming relative rotation of the two containers into axial displacement of the shutter in the guide mechanism, thereby opening the passage. The shutter further includes a retaining mechanism suitable for limiting its displacement in the guide mechanism at the end of relative rotation of the containers.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device for separate packaging of two components to be mixed on first use and for dispensing the resulting mixture, the device comprising two superposed containers capable of turning one relative to the other and suitable for communicating with each other, the components being separated during storage by a shutter having a plug connected to a holding member by at least one hinge-forming bridge of material, the device further including drive means for transforming relative rotation of the two containers into displacement of the plug causing the components to be mixed together. The two containers include sealing means independent of the shutter to provide sealing between them. The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing such a device.

Abstract: A dispensing head for the dispensing a product of a liquid to viscous consistency from a container includes a rigid cap (2) and an elastic closing element (4) joined to the cap (2), and a zone of smaller thickness delimited by the edges of a groove (6) made in the elastic element. The zone of a smaller thickness ruptures under the effect of a pressure exerted on one side or the other of the elastic element (4) to define at least one slit (5) capable of opening under the thrust of the product with a view to its dispensing, and returning to its contiguous position when this thrust ceases to be applied. The rupture may occur during manufacture to form the slit or may be caused by a user squeezing the container prior to first use of the product.

Abstract: A thermoplastic tray (1) for mixing, at the time of use, at least two products A and B, includes a thermoplastic body (2) forming at least two compartments (3, 4), a first compartment (3) containing the product A and a second compartment (4) containing the product B. Each of the compartments has an opening (8, 12) delimited by a peripheral edge (9, 14) and closed off in a removable manner by a cover (10, 15), the two compartments being connected together via at least one articulation zone (16). The articulation zone (16) makes it possible to bring a portion of the peripheral edge (14) of the second compartment (4) over the top of the opening (8) of the first compartment (3) by moving the second compartment (4) with a translational movement and then tilting the second compartment (4) so as to pour the product B into the first compartment (3) in order to mix the two products therein.

Abstract: A device for packaging and dispensing a substance in the form of a liquid, a gel, or a paste, e.g. a cosmetic, comprises a reservoir and a dome-shaped applicator communicating internally with the reservoir and provided with outlet orifices, with the substance being caused to flow through the outlet orifices by being subjected to pressure upstream therefrom. The applicator includes an elastic outer membrane pierced by substance-dispensing orifices and an inner supporting wall having feed orifices that are offset from the dispensing orifices so that when the outer membrane is at rest it isolates the feed orifices from the outside, the outer membrane being capable of moving elastically away from the inner supporting wall under the effect of dispensing pressure being applied to the substance so as to enable the substance to flow out therethrough.
