At least one first light-producing device is arranged in a defined position relative to the component surface such that light emitted thereby illuminates first structure portions and generates a shadow that is cast on second structure portions. At least one second light-producing device is arranged in a defined position relative to the component surface such that light emitted thereby illuminates the second structure portions and generates a shadow that is cast on the first structure portions.

Abstract: A motor vehicle component with a lighting function includes a laminate component having a first fiber-reinforced composite material and a second fiber-reinforced composite material, the first fiber-reinforced composite material being electrically insulating and the second fiber-reinforced composite material being electrically conductive. The motor vehicle component also includes a light source which is at least partially embedded in the first fiber-reinforced composite material. The light source is electrically conductively connected to the second fiber-reinforced composite material, and the second fiber-reinforced composite material has a light exit region from which light emitted by the light source can exit so that it can be seen from outside the motor vehicle component.

Abstract: An attachment part for a motor vehicle includes a main body and a securing element where the attachment part is mechanically securable to the motor vehicle by the securing element. An electrical consumer is integrated into the attachment part. Connection conductor tracks are attached to the main body, contact the electrical consumer, and extend as far as the securing element where the electrical consumer is electrically connectable to a power supply on the motor vehicle by the connection conductor tracks.
