  • Publication number: 20210389056
Abstract: There is provided a modular and high-temperature thermal energy storage system, which withstands temperature and mechanical conditions. The disclosed thermal energy storage system comprises a thermal energy storage assembly to adapt to storage capacity requirements of an energy consumer comprises a plurality of thermal energy storage modules are stacked on top of each other to increase energy storage capacity, wherein the stack of thermal energy storage modules acts as a single thermal energy storage unit. Also disclosed is a regenerator manufactured using a plurality of thermal energy storage modules comprises a first chamber to store heat from a hot source resulting in charging operation, and a second chamber to transfer the stored heat to air resulting in discharging. A parallel configuration of the thermal energy storage modules allows for simultaneous charging and discharging operations.

  • Publication number: 20080311160
Abstract: The present invention concerns a clear pharmaceutical aqueous emulsion composition which comprises Propofol and a surfactant system and which is particularly usable for a safe administration through intravenous injection. A composition according to the invention is characterized in that the surfactant system comprises in combination at least one pharmaceutically acceptable monovalent metal salt of a fatty acid having from 5 to 23 carbon atoms, and at least one polyethylene glycol hydroxystearate. This combination allows to use a mass ratio (w/w) surfactant system/Propofol which is less than 4 and preferably less than or equal to 2.8, while obtaining such a clear composition.

  • Publication number: 20080057121
Abstract: The invention is based on a known method for the cold rolling of metallic rolled stock (4), which for plastic deformation enters a roll gap (3) formed between oppositely rotating rolls (1, 2) on a run-in side and leaves the roll gap on a run-out side, deformation heat that is produced being removed by supplying an industrial gas which is at a lower temperature than the rolled stock. In order on this basis to provide a cold rolling method with which, on the one hand, corrosion of the surfaces of the rolled stock and the surfaces of the rolls in the region of the roll .

  • Publication number: 20050069513
Abstract: The invention relates to amphiphilic compounds, for pharmaceutical or cosmetic use, consisting of an ion pair complex between an acylamino acid and a biologically active molecule. Said formed compounds enable the enhancement of the properties of pharmaceutical or cosmetic molecules, in particular of small organic molecules, peptides and proteins, nucleotides or genes.

  • Publication number: 20040147578
Abstract: The invention concerns the use, in a pharmaceutical composition comprising at least an active principle, of at least a lipoaminoacid consisting of the combination between a fatty acid and an amino acid, the fatty acid comprising 4 to 40 carbon atoms and the amino acid may be a natural, synthetic or modified amino acid, in native or salified form; the lipoaminoacid being either an intestinal absorption promoter, or a pulmonary absorption promoter, depending on whether the composition is respectively in galenic form for oral administration or in galenic form for pulmonary administration. The invention also concerns a dispersed system comprising such a lipoaminoacid, the dispersed system being in galenic form adapted to the mode of delivery.
