  • Patent number: 10504054
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for analyzing travel object management by a database system. Simulated demand requests for a simulation period are received. Availability requests for travel objects managed by the database system are generated based at least in part on the simulated demand requests. An availability response is received from the database system for each availability request that indicates an availability for each travel object. A booking decision is simulated for each travel object for the simulation period based at least in part on the simulated demand requests and the availability for each travel object. Simulation data for the simulation period is stored based at least in part on the availability requests, the availability response for each availability request, and the simulated booking decision for each travel object.

  • Patent number: 10332038
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for analyzing a database system that manages production travel objects. A plurality of records is retrieved from a database of an electronic ticket server. Each record includes at least one travel object segment and a value object. The travel segment object of each record is analyzed to determine at least one geographical identification object for each record. A geographical identification object correlated value object is computed based on the value object for each record. A demand model is generated in a memory based at least in part on the geographical identification object and the geographical identification object correlated value object of each record. Booking demand is modeled for production travel objects managed by the database system for a range of simulation days with the demand model.

  • Publication number: 20160210584
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for benchmarking a database system that manages travel objects. A plurality of records is retrieved from a database of an electronic ticket server. Each record includes at least one travel object segment and a value object. A demand model is generated in a memory based at least in part on the travel object segment and the value object of each record, where generation of the demand model includes generation of geographical identification nodes in the memory that are based at least in part on the at least one travel object segment of each record. For a range of simulation days, demand is modeled with the demand model by generating simulated demand requests, where each simulated demand request is associated with a particular geographical identification node, and the simulated demand requests correspond to the travel objects managed by the database system.
