  • Patent number: 8061695
Abstract: A device of the invention includes a vibration isolator with an elastomeric damper and inner and outer connectors. The inner connector has external and internal threads, and the outer connector has internal threads. A method of the invention includes attaching the vibration isolator to a block by screwing external threads of an internal connector of the isolator into the block. The block with attached isolators is inserted into an enclosure, and each isolator is loosened as necessary to make a flush fit with the enclosure. A screw is then inserted into each isolator and fastens the isolator to the block at the flush position. Finally, a screw is inserted through the enclosure into each isolator to connect the isolators to the enclosure.

  • Patent number: 7444209
Abstract: A method for regulating temperature in an enclosure is disclosed. The method involves monitoring a component temperature inside the enclosure. When the component temperature reaches a threshold, the method injects a coolant into the enclosure. The method further involves regulating a flow rate of the coolant by actuating a miniature piezoelectric element to reduce the component temperature to a prescribed level.

  • Publication number: 20080037231
Abstract: An electronic card heat transferring guide is provided. The system includes at least one first clamping member, at least one second clamping member and a plurality of attaching members. Each first clamping member has at least one clamping aperture. Moreover, each first clamping member has a first surface adapted to abut an inside surface of a chassis wall and a second surface adapted to abut an electronic card. Each second clamping member has at least one clamping aperture. Moreover, each second clamping member has a first surface adapted to abut the inside surface of the chassis wall and a second surface adapted to abut the electronic card. Each attaching member is adapted to engage an associated first and second clamping member through the chassis via associated clamping apertures in the respective first and second clamping members.

  • Patent number: 7328521
Abstract: An enclosure is provided. The enclosure includes at least one self-actuating valve assembly, incorporated within a wall of the enclosure, including at least one spring member, at least one pivot, attached to the at least one spring member, and at least two seal plugs, attached to the at least one spring member, wherein one of the at least two seal plugs actuates a gas purge and one of the at least two seal plugs actuates a gas fill. The enclosure also includes a retaining clip fastened to the at least one self-actuating valve assembly, wherein the retaining clip ensures that the at least two seal plugs do not unseat under dynamic environments.

  • Patent number: 5140758
Abstract: An alpine ski boot having a curved sole and a rotating boot sole toe. The boot sole toe is rotated upward by hand to allow walking, which is facilitated by the shape of the sole: it is gradually curved from the midsole to the toe. With the boot sole toe rotated down, the boot will engage normally with universally accepted ski bindings and is suitable for any level of skiing. Unlike a conventional boot, the boot sole toe is not in contact with the ground while walking; thus no wear occurs which may hamper binding release.
