  • Publication number: 20230292407
Abstract: An electric heating device may include a heating volume, at least two heating modules arranged in the heating volume, an electrically conductive control housing, a power electronics, and an electrically conductive conductor arrangement. The control housing may delimit a control volume and may have a bottom that delimits the heating volume. The conductor arrangement may include an intermediate part electrically connected to the bottom and to an electrically conductive outer shell of each of the heating modules. The heating modules may each extend into the control volume through an associated passage opening of the bottom. The outer shell of each heating module may extend through an associated arrangement opening of the intermediate part. The conductor arrangement may include a cover covering the intermediate part. A closure bend of the intermediate part may extend through a cover opening of the cover and engage with the cover to form a form closure.

  • Publication number: 20230288097
Abstract: An electric heating device for a motor vehicle may include a heating volume and at least two spaced heating modules. A flow path of a fluid may lead through the heating volume. At least two spaced heating modules may be arranged in the heating volume. The at least two spaced heating modules may extend in a longitudinal direction. The at least two spaced heating modules may be spaced apart from one another in a transverse direction extending transversely to the longitudinal direction.

  • Patent number: 11571951
Abstract: The present disclosure concerns a connector system, e.g., for connecting an electrical component with a circuit board. The connector system includes an electrical heater-function-component having an electrical component-contact-surface for an electrical connection of the electrical heater-function-component. A circuit-board having an electrical board-contact surface is provided for an electrical connection of the circuit-board. A connector assembly connects the heater-function-component with the circuit-board. The connector assembly is arranged at the electrical component-contact-surface and the electrical board-contact-surface for connecting the heater-function-component with the circuit-board.

  • Patent number: 11295878
Abstract: A PTC thermistor module for a temperature control device may include at least one PTC thermistor element, two electrically insulating insulator plates, and a plurality of electrical conductors. The PTC thermistor element may have a flat element cross section, two opposing large outer surfaces, and two opposing small outer surfaces connecting the two large outer surfaces. The two insulator plates may be respectively connected to one of the two large outer surfaces. The plurality of electrical conductors may be configured as a plurality of electrically conductive conductor coatings, which may each be disposed on an associated insulator plate of the two insulator plates. At least one first conductor coating may be electrically connected to a first large outer surface of the two large outer surfaces. At least two second conductor coatings may be electrically connected to a second large outer surface of the two large outer surfaces.

  • Publication number: 20210339606
Abstract: An electric heating device for, e.g., a motor vehicle, includes a heating module including at least one electric heating element that, in operation, generates heat when it is electrically supplied, a control housing of metal or alloy that delimits a control volume, and a power electronic, arranged in the control volume, for electrically supplying the heating module. The heating module includes an outer cover that surrounds the at least one electric heating element in a circumferential direction. The control housing has a pass opening through which a longitudinal end of the heating module is passed. The heating module is electrically connected to the power electronic in the control housing. A sealing arrangement is arranged in the pass opening between an inner jacket of the pass opening and the outer cover.

  • Publication number: 20210283987
Abstract: A heating arrangement may include at least one PTC heating device with at least one first PTC heating element. The PTC heating device includes at least one second PTC heating element that is distinct from the first PTC heating element, wherein the first and second PTC heating elements may be arranged in a through-flow direction next to one another. Alternatively, a further PTC heating device with at least one second PTC heating element that is distinct from the first PTC heating element may be provided, wherein the first and second PTC heating devices may be arranged in the through-flow direction next to one another.
