  • Patent number: 11963012
Abstract: The invention relates to a system for identifying a user terminal forming part of an entertainment system for a mobile passenger transport apparatus comprising a plurality of user terminals and a communication network connecting said user terminals, each user terminal comprising a screen, and being designed to be attached to a docking station positioned at a predetermined location. The docking station comprises an identification component encoding an identifier comprising spatial location information for the docking station, and the user terminal comprises an identifier reading device, adapted to obtain, upon command, said identifier from the identification component of the docking station to which said user terminal is attached, the user terminal comprising a memory and being adapted to store said identifier in said memory. The identifier is used during network communications in said communication network.

  • Publication number: 20240054010
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for controlling a set of computer boards of a media server intended for be carried on-board an aircraft. Each computer board is intended for executing at least one software function. The method is implemented by an electronic control device and comprises a step 200 of selection of a computer board from among the set of computer boards, a first step 220 of managing a reassignment, to one or a plurality of computer boards other than the selected board, of one or each software function pending execution by the selected board, and, following the first management step 220, a step of sending 230 a restart instruction to the selected board.

  • Patent number: 9605025
Abstract: Antagonist peptide of the bond between CD47 and a protein belonging to the thrombospondin family has the sequence S1 R1-R2-R3-S-Q-L-L-K-G-R4-R5-R6 and interacts specifically with the C-terminal end of the TSP, at the site of the bond between the TSP and the CD47 receptor. Interaction between the CD47 receptor and the protein is prevented. The peptide can be used in the context of cancer treatments.

  • Patent number: 5129390
Abstract: The invention concerns a process for regulating a respiratory apparatus and the respiratory apparatus itself. The apparatus permits a succession of respiratory cycles depending on patient requirements, such as frequency FR (or respiratory rate RR). The succession of respiratory cycles consists of an inspiration phase, during which the patient is supplied with a current tidal volume (VT) of respirable gaseous fluid, and an expiration phase. The patient has his/her own natural spontaneous respiration, and the pressure in the patient's respiratory passages is defined as Paw. According to the the process, a theoretical respiration volume per minute value, called Vmn optical, is established as a function of the patient's condition and natural spontaneous respiration. Other values are also set or calculated. A minimum current tidal volume (VTmin) and a maximum allowable airway passage pressure, Paw max, are established.
