  • Patent number: 11181668
Abstract: A film comprising a first plurality of voids is provided, wherein respective ones of the first plurality of voids have a regular n-gon geometry, and the first plurality of voids are arranged on a regular n-gon lattice having a first size. The film may comprise a second plurality of voids arranged on a regular n-gon lattice having a second size different from the first size. An optical element and manufacturing method are also provided.

  • Patent number: 11076264
Abstract: A mobile device that is able to locate itself in a topological map using a combination of visual and radio information is provided. The mobile device captures an image of its environment, detects receivable radio transmitters and builds an observation vector that defines visual words and radio words that are present at the current location of the mobile device. It then compares this observation vector to reference vectors corresponding to reference location and identifies, based on correlations between visual words and radio words, the location of the mobile device among reference locations.

  • Publication number: 20210178214
Abstract: A barbell includes a rotational body including a bar, a sleeve assembly having a sleeve with a bore, where a portion of the bar is received through the axial bore, a proximal bushing received in the bore and having a passage receiving the bar, a distal bushing received the bore and having a cavity receiving a portion of the rotational body. The proximal bushing has a first outer surface engaging the sleeve and a first inner surface engaging the bar within the passage. The distal bushing has a second outer surface engaging the sleeve and a second inner surface engaging the portion of the rotational body within the cavity. The proximal bushing and the distal bushing permit the sleeve assembly to rotate around the rotational body, and at least one of the first inner and outer surfaces and at least one of the second inner and outer surfaces are polymer surfaces.

  • Patent number: 11008835
Abstract: A method for modeling a reservoir includes receiving vertical formation data describing geological formations in a vertical direction as a function of vertical depth, receiving near-wellbore horizontal formation data describing the geological formations in a horizontal or deviated direction near a wellbore up to a wellbore instrument range, and correlating the vertical formation data with the near-wellbore horizontal formation data to create horizontally adjusted formation data to describe the geological formations in the vertical direction beyond the wellbore instrument range, along the horizontal or deviated direction.

  • Patent number: 10977497
Abstract: A network system, such as a transport management system, generates a mutual augmented reality (AR) experience for a user and a provider associated with a service. Responsive to receiving a service request, a service management module matches the user with an available provider and monitors the location of the user and provider client devices as the user and provider travel to the pickup location. When the devices are within a threshold distance of each other, an image recognition module monitors live video streams on the devices for the vehicle and the user. Responsive to the vehicle and user entering the field of view of the devices, an AR control module selects computer-generated AR elements and instructs the devices to visually augment the video streams to identify the user and provider to each other and to allow the user and provider to communicate and share data with each other.

  • Publication number: 20210001164
Abstract: A barbell comprising a bar member, a first side weight assembly and a second side weight assembly. The bar member has a first side sleeve region and a second side sleeve region opposite the first side sleeve region. The first side weight assembly includes a weight surface and extends over the first side sleeve region, and is rotatively coupled to the bar member through an inner and outer slidable engagement surface. The second side weight assembly includes a weight surface and extends over the second side sleeve region, and is rotatively coupled to the bar member through an inner and outer slidable engagement surface. The bar member includes a first and second surface enhanced region, the first surface enhanced region spanning a portion of the central region and the first side sleeve region, and with the second surface enhanced region spanning a portion of the central region and the second side sleeve region.

  • Publication number: 20200121973
Abstract: A connector assembly includes a shaft and a first annular knob fixed to the shaft and a second annular knob releasably engaged with the shaft. Each of the first and second annular knobs includes a front face, a face, and a central passage that receives the shaft. The central passage has first, second, and third sections. The width of each first section is greater than the width of the third section, and the width of the second section is greater than the width of the first section. The second section defines an annular slot between the first and third sections.
