  • Patent number: 10031185
Abstract: Determining a state of charge (SOC) of a rechargeable battery includes using a first process to determine a first value for the SOC of the battery and using a second process to determine a second value for the SOC of the battery and deriving the SOC as a weighted average of the first value for the SOC and the second value for the SOC. During a charging cycle of the battery an input charge of the battery is determined from an input current flowing into the battery and a charging time. During a discharging cycle an output charge of the battery is determined from an output current flowing out of the battery, a discharging time and an actual capacity of the battery is the sum of the input charge over charging cycles minus the sum of the output charge over discharging cycles.

  • Patent number: 9677505
Abstract: An air/fuel mixer system of a combustion chamber of a gas turbine includes at least one compressed air intake swirler, the swirler having a central axis of symmetry, and a fuel injector including an injection head having an axis of symmetry. Each injector is mounted in the corresponding swirler with aid of a guide mechanism, so that the axis of symmetry of the injection head is off-center with respect to the central axis of symmetry of the swirler. The system can reduce, or even eliminate, combustion instabilities, by injecting the fuel along a particular axis which is off-center relative to the axis of the air/fuel mixer system, inducing a flow of fuel which is no longer perfectly axially symmetrical.

  • Publication number: 20170038075
Abstract: The fixed vanes of a diffuser are set to an azimuth angle setting (?) with respect to the injectors of a combustion chamber so that the paths leading from the trailing edges pass through the gaps between injectors and more preferably mid-way between same, so that these portions of the flow, which may contain condensed water, do not affect the initiation of the combustion.

  • Patent number: 7523334
Abstract: In this wakeup system for stations interconnected by an information transmission network in particular for a motor vehicle, in which the stations need to pass from a standby state or an OFF state to an awake state in order to exchange information relating to the distributed function, all of the stations are connected to a single line for transmitting a station wakeup signal, at least some of the stations include means for generating a wakeup signal on said line in order to cause the other stations to take up their awake state, and means for sending information relating to the distributed function over the information transmission network, and at least some of the stations include means for analyzing the information on the information transmission network in order to determine whether they are concerned by the information and thus by the corresponding distributed function, so as to remain in the awake state or else return to the standby state or the OFF state.
