  • Publication number: 20240262511
Abstract: A propeller blade comprising a de-icing system is described, wherein the propeller blade comprises a blade body 1 comprising a carbon fiber fabric skin, a leading edge 11, a trailing edge 12, a hub end 9 and a tip end 10. The blade body 1 comprises a resistive wire 4 that extends along the leading edge 11 to a conductive glue 6. The resistive wire 11, the conductive glue 6 and the carbon fiber fabric in the skin of the blade body 1 form a conductive path for an electrical current. A propeller comprising a plurality of the propeller blades, a UAV comprising one or more of the propellers are also described.

  • Publication number: 20240215865
Abstract: Disclosed is a computer-implemented method of analyzing the setup of an array of acceleration sensors on an anatomical body part of a patient encompasses acquisition of acceleration data using a cranial headset having acceleration sensors and determining an appropriate contact of the acceleration sensor to the patient's head, detecting, marking, filtering out, or removing different kinds of noise as well as acceleration signals which are considered to be due to gross patient movement. This is done to determine whether the setup of the headset on the patient's head is good enough to generate measurement signals of acceptable quality. If this is the case, the headset is subsequently used to acquire continuous datasets of acceleration data which is then evaluated to determine the patient's physiological status.

  • Patent number: 9376928
Abstract: A power system enclosure is provided. The power system enclosure includes a housing accommodating a power source. The power system enclosure further includes an enclosure inlet connected to the housing to allow entry of an intake fluid into the housing. An enclosure exhaust is connected to the housing to route fluid from the housing. Further, a relief damper is disposed in the enclosure exhaust. At least a portion of the relief damper is configured to open when a pressure within the housing exceeds a predetermined threshold value.

  • Patent number: 9337958
Abstract: A modem for communicating application data over a voice channel comprises an adaptive modulator, a mixer, and a vocoder. The adaptive modulator modulates application data as a function of a source application of the application data and feedback information of the voice channel. The modulated data is inputted to the mixer. The vocoder processes the mixed data for transmission through the voice channel.
