  • Patent number: 12317060
Abstract: An audio processing method for an audio system for a seat headrest, the audio system having at least two loudspeakers positioned on either side of the headrest and an audio processing module designed to apply at least one audio processing operation. The method includes the steps of: acquiring images of the head of a user of the audio system using an image acquisition device; processing the acquired images in order to determine, within a predetermined three-dimensional spatial reference frame, a spatial position of each ear of the user; and, on the basis of said determined spatial positions of the ears of the user and based on calibration information previously recorded in connection with an audio processing operation, determining calibration information for adapting the audio processing operation to the determined spatial positions of the ears of the user. Also included is an associated audio system for a seat headrest.

  • Publication number: 20230129022
Abstract: A method for reducing noise within a vehicle cabin comprising at least one error sensor and at least one sound transducer, the method comprising: the at least one error sensor measuring at least one first noise at a first location; selecting at least one sound zone from a plurality of sound zones within the cabin for reducing noise in said at least one sound zone, based on a presence of a driver and passenger(s) within the cabin; estimating at least one second noise that would have been measured at a second location within the selected at least one sound zone, based on a primary transfer function describing a primary acoustic path from the first location to the second location; the at least one sound transducer generating at least one secondary noise for reducing the at least one second noise that would have been measured at the second location.

  • Patent number: 11087735
Abstract: A method for reducing the power of an acoustic primary noise signal (dm(n)) at one or more control positions in a vehicle passenger compartment using an adaptive filter. The method comprising to compare a mean correlation coefficient (?m(n)) between an electrical error signal (em(n) and a modelled secondary anti-noise signal ?m(n) with at least one predefined threshold (?, ?).
