Patent number: 12462024Abstract: System, method, and various embodiments for a request processing system are described herein. An embodiment operates by determining a first sampling rate for each of multiple different types of requests being processed by a first computing landscape, and detecting a change in a performance of a first type of request. The first sampling rate for the first type of request is increased, and a second sampling rate for the first type of request for a second computing landscape responsive is also increased. Results of the tracing corresponding to the increased sampling rates are aggregated, and one or more differences between the first computing landscape and the second computing landscape are identified. An alert to reduce processing of the first type of request is generated based on the aggregated results and the identified one or more differences.Type: GrantFiled: March 8, 2024Date of Patent: November 4, 2025Assignee: SAP SEInventors: Sven Sterbling, Nicolas Schaefer

Patent number: 12423335Abstract: Techniques and solutions are provided for identifying relationships between data objects. In particular, the present disclosure provides techniques that can identify data objects that are related to data objects in a lineage graph, as well as being useable to identify relationships between existing lineage graph data objects. A lineage data object is compared with a candidate data object. For example, attribute types, attribute values, or information regarding such attribute types or values can be compared between the lineage data object and the candidate data object. If it is determined that a relationship criterion is satisfied, a relationship can be established or suggested between the lineage data object and the candidate data object. A display is rendered that displays a lineage graph with the relationship between the lineage data object and the candidate data object. A user can define an edge between the lineage data object and the candidate data object.Type: GrantFiled: November 21, 2023Date of Patent: September 23, 2025Assignee: SAP SEInventors: Sven Sterbling, Nicolas Schaefer

Publication number: 20250260713Abstract: System, method, and various embodiments for a request isolation system are described herein. An embodiment operates by determining a first request that has been processed by one or more computing services of a primary computing system. It is determined that processing resources used in processing the first request have exceeded a first computing threshold for the first request. It is determined that the first request is malicious based on the determination that the processing resources exceed the first computing threshold. A client of the primary computing system from which the malicious request was received is identified, a second request is received from the client, and the second request is routed to a secondary computing system for processing based on the determination that the first request was malicious.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 13, 2024Publication date: August 14, 2025Inventors: Nicolas SCHAEFER, Sven Sterbling

Patent number: 10984370Abstract: There is provided a method and apparatus for tracking of items and containers of items. The method comprises generating a set of unique item identifier codes, each identifier code corresponding to a specific item in a set of items. Then, at a production line, uniquely identifying multiple items by marking the multiple items with the corresponding unique item identifiers. The method further includes detecting the unique item identifiers on the set of items and transmitting the detected unique item identifiers to a processor. After aggregating items into containers, containers are marked with container identifiers. The method then associates the detected container identifier in the database with detected item identifiers.Type: GrantFiled: January 28, 2016Date of Patent: April 20, 2021Assignee: INEXTO SAInventors: Patrick Chanez, Nicolas Schaefer, Roger Barata

Patent number: 10489647Abstract: The invention relates to method for computing a unique identifier for a gemstone, including acquiring a 2D digital master image of the gemstone, where an image of a reference mark on the gemstone defines a master image referential; matching a virtual selection mask with the master image according to a predefined position and orientation with respect to the master image referential; defining, in the master image, a plurality of distinct selected zones corresponding to the location of selection zones of the matched mask; detecting, in each of the plurality of distinct selected zones, the presence or not of at least one facet edge portion image; defining a location of the detected facet edge portion images in the master image; and computing a unique identifier based on the defined locations of the detected facet edge portion images.Type: GrantFiled: April 11, 2018Date of Patent: November 26, 2019Assignee: Inexto S.A.Inventor: Nicolas Schaefer
