Patent number: 8135601Abstract: A method of evaluating outbound and inbound fare amounts out of a plurality of roundtrip fare recommendations is disclosed. Intended to be displayed in a one-way like display, roundtrip fares are first obtained from a fare-driven availability engine receiving inputs from an online user of a travel website. Further recommendations are deduced by combining the above roundtrip fare recommendations in order to obtain a first improved list of recommendations which comprises more outbound and inbound fare combinations. Then, one-way fare amounts are determined for each combination from the first improved list of recommendations. A second improved list of recommendations, comprising outbound and inbound fare amounts evaluated on the basis of the initial roundtrip fare recommendations, is generated. Outbound and inbound fare amounts can thus be shown in a one-way like display of roundtrip fares to the online user of the travel website.Type: GrantFiled: March 15, 2007Date of Patent: March 13, 2012Assignee: Amadeus s.a.s.Inventors: Benoit Bodin, Jorge Gomes, Jean Mouyade, Pierre Voute, Nicolas Viard

Publication number: 20100030591Abstract: A system and method of retrieving and displaying travel data receives at a computing apparatus data representing a set of recommended travel itineraries. At least one recommended itinerary has a recommended booking class belonging to a predefined group of booking classes. A computing apparatus identifies a reference booking classes that is associated with the recommended booking class. The apparatus computes a fare value for the recommended itinerary based on a fare value of the associated booking class in the reference group plus a buy-across value. The predefined group may have fewer booking classes than the reference group, and most preferably has a single booking class.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 14, 2007Publication date: February 4, 2010Applicant: AMADEUS S.A.S.Inventors: Nicolas Viard, Pierre Voute, Benoit Tisserand, Mamar Maameri

Patent number: 6094924Abstract: Process for controlling the rate of gas extraction of a gas extractor for an enclosure of a cryogenic apparatus comprising a cryogenic fluid feed and an internal atmosphere, the apparatus being in contact with an ambient medium, comprising the steps of:measuring the content (m.sub.02) of the internal atmosphere of the enclosure in terms of a gas of the ambient medium;defining a target content (u.sub.02) for the measured content;calculating the rate of gas extraction (r.sub.c) of the extractor as a function of the measured content (m.sub.02) so as to maintain this content substantially equal to the target content (u.sub.02); andoperating the extractor on the basis of the calculated rate of gas extraction (r.sub.c).Type: GrantFiled: March 3, 1999Date of Patent: August 1, 2000Assignee: L'Air Liquide, Societe Anonyme pour l'Etude de l'Exploitation des Procedes Georges ClaudeInventor: Nicolas Viard

Patent number: 6064311Abstract: The process for generating at least one warning signal relating to the level in a tank (3) for storing a product (4) comprises the following steps:the storage level of the product in the tank, together with the values of the product quantity consumed during predefined time intervals are determined, these values are placed in memory together with the associated measurement instants,at other successive instantsthe values placed in memory of the product quantity consumed are used to calculate a value of the estimated quantity of product which will be consumed in the future, this estimated value is subtracted from the last measurement value so as to obtain an estimated value of the storage level at a future instant, this estimated value of the storage level is compared with a preset threshold, anda warning signal is generated if the estimated value is less than the preset threshold.Type: GrantFiled: June 24, 1998Date of Patent: May 16, 2000Assignee: L'Air Liquide, Societe Anonyme pour l'Etude et l'Exploitation des Procedes Georges ClaudeInventors: Laurent Ferenczi, Frederic Barth, Veronique Dulphy-Vigor, Nicolas Viard
