    Abstract: The invention relates to mascara compositions comprising a plant extract, especially, an apple extract component dispersed in a silicone oil. These mascaras can also contain a fiber component unrelated to the fiber content of the fruit extract. The fiber component, when it is charged, is capable of aligning itself with the natural direction of the eyelashes when an antistatic component is also present. The mascaras contain a natural ingredient of apple extract and are not tacky.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to cosmetic compositions for topical application to the skin. The compositions comprise an organopolysiloxane elastomer dispersed in a hydrocarbon vehicle. The present invention also includes a cosmetic composition comprising a silicone gel combined with a compatible cosmetically acceptable carrier where the silicone gel comprises the elastomer dispersed in the vehicle. The compositions of the invention are transfer resistant and produce a unique soft and powdery sensation on the skin due to the combination of the elastomer with the hydrocarbon vehicle.
