Abstract: Food orders are divided into components or tasks. Systems and methods of food order preparation communicate instructions for automated actions to devices to carry out the automated actions. A toaster operates to toast a bun according to toaster settings. A bun magazine operates to deliver a bun into the toaster. A condiment dispenser receives the bun from the toaster and operates to dispense at least one portion of at least one condiment onto the bun.

Abstract: A blood draw device for withdrawing blood through an intravenous catheter assembly including a catheter, the blood draw device including a housing, a fluid conduit received within the housing and having a proximal end and a distal end, the fluid conduit including a first conduit portion at the proximal end of the fluid conduit, the first conduit portion having a proximal end, a distal end, and a first diameter, and a second conduit portion at the distal end of the fluid conduit, the second conduit portion having a proximal end, a distal end, and a second diameter different from the first diameter, wherein the fluid conduit is configured to be advanced from a proximal position in which the second conduit portion does not extend beyond a distal end of the catheter to a distal position in which the second conduit portion extends beyond a distal end of the catheter.

Abstract: A catheter adapter including a housing and an extension portion extending from the distal end of the housing and defining a passageway configured to receive a catheter. The first material of the housing is more flexible than the second material of the extension portion. The catheter adapter may further include a body contact portion comprising an upper surface corresponding to a surface of the housing and a lower surface defining an outer surface of the catheter adapter. The housing may include a body, an access port extending from the body, and a plurality of protrusions extending from the body and/or the access port. The body contact portion covers at least a portion of the housing, and the protrusions are embedded in and are completely surrounded by the body contact portion. The catheter adapter may further include a connection portion connecting the extension portion to the body contact portion.

Abstract: A portable combination toothbrush and toothpaste dispenser device within a casing for providing a convenient and hygienic means of brushing teeth. The casing includes a toothbrush, a toothpaste dispenser, and includes a top end and a bottom end. The bottom end has a ribbed circular dispensing wheel connected to an internal plunger assembly. The plunger assembly has a circular platform which pushes toothpaste upwardly and a funnel cap which dispenses the toothpaste outwardly onto the toothbrush. The toothbrush has bristles and a handle that extends upwardly and downwardly from within the casing. A cap fits onto the bottom end of the casing in an open position ready for use and onto the top end of the casing in a closed position for storage.

Abstract: A method of value resin optimization of automotive components includes the steps of evaluating value resins used for the automotive components and updating a list of the value resins. The method also includes the steps of accessing the list of value resins and selecting a resin specification from the list of value resins for the automotive component.
