Publication number: 20210090172Abstract: System, method, and program products offer flexibility to the rather rigid way of trading in an electronic trading system. Orders for a tradeable object may typically get matched according to set terms and/or conditions at an electronic exchange. A trader may log onto the electronic exchange to trade the tradeable object, and may choose to display and trade the tradeable object according to a different set of terms and/or conditions. As such, the market data sent to the trader from the exchange is converted to a format according to the trader's selection, so that it may be presented to the trader in this format. Transaction messages sent to the exchange from the trader are converted to the format readable by the matching process, so that it can process the messages. Other features and advantages are described herein.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 3, 2020Publication date: March 25, 2021Inventors: Farley Owens, Bharat Mittal, Robert J. Patent number: 9968999Abstract: Permanent magnets are used for several important applications, including dc electrical motors, wind turbines, hybrid automobile, and for many other applications. Modern widely used rare-earth based permanent magnet materials, such as Sm—Co and Nd—Fe—B, are generally intermetallic alloys made from rare earth elements and transition metals such as cobalt. However, the high costs of rare earth elements make the widespread use of these permanent magnets commercially unattractive. The present work focuses on producing a new permanent magnet material, with good magnetic properties, which is free from rare-earth elements and thus cost-effective. The present invention provides a process to synthesis boron doped manganese antimonide as an alternative to rare earth based permanent magnet materials. The boron doped manganese antimonide disclosed in this invention is free from rare-earth element with good magnetic properties.Type: GrantFiled: October 16, 2014Date of Patent: May 15, 2018Assignee: COUNCIL OF SCIENTIFIC & INDUSTRIAL RESEARCHInventors: Nidhi Singh, Jiji Thomas Joseph Pulikkotil, Anurag Gupta, Kanika Anand, Ajay Dhar, Ramesh Chandra Budhani

Patent number: 9576052Abstract: Methods and systems for dynamically training a web crawler. The web crawler maintains one or more categories each comprising a set of words. The method includes selecting at least one hyperlink in response to a query received from a user. The method further includes determining a hyperlink score for the at least one hyperlink based on a category score associated with each of one or more categories. The category score associated with each of the one or more categories is updated based at least in part on the hyperlink score. The updated category score is compared with the hyperlink score to select a category from the one or more categories. The set of words associated with the category is updated based on content of a web page pointed by the at least one hyperlink.Type: GrantFiled: July 16, 2013Date of Patent: February 21, 2017Assignee: XEROX CORPORATIONInventors: Nidhi Singh, Jean-Marc Coursimault, Herve Poirier, Nicolas Monet

Patent number: 9286573Abstract: Online learning of an ensemble of classifiers or regressors is performed to predict a non-stationary time-varying parameter over a time series of episodes. For an episode, an ensemble action is selected from a set of ensemble actions based on ensemble action quality values (Q values) at an error state for the episode. The selected ensemble action is executed to update the ensemble. A cost of executing the selected ensemble action is computed or retrieved, and a reward is computed indicating how well the updated ensemble predicts the non-stationary time-varying parameter over the episode. The Q value for the selected ensemble action at the error state for the episode is updated based on both the reward and the cost of executing the selected ensemble action. The cost may be based on the ensemble action alone, or on both the ensemble action and the error state for the episode.Type: GrantFiled: July 17, 2013Date of Patent: March 15, 2016Assignee: XEROX CORPORATIONInventor: Nidhi Singh

Patent number: 9189557Abstract: A web page identified by a URL stored in a downloads queue is downloaded, and hyperlinks in the downloaded web page are identified. Each hyperlink is screened by parsing the hyperlink (optionally only the URL of the hyperlink) to identify features comprising character strings, computing for each feature values for one or more meta-features indicative of the hyperlinked web page being in a target language, aggregating the meta-feature values to generate a score for the hyperlink, and adding the URL of the hyperlink to the downloads queue conditional upon the score satisfying a screening criterion. The downloading, identifying, and screening are iteratively repeated to perform web crawling, and an index of web pages in the target language is constructed based on analysis of content of the downloaded web pages. The meta-features may include a transliterated target word meta-feature, a language code meta-feature, a country code meta-feature, or so forth.Type: GrantFiled: March 11, 2013Date of Patent: November 17, 2015Assignee: XEROX CORPORATIONInventors: Nidhi Singh, Jean-Marc Coursimault, Nicolas Monet, Herve Poirer
