  • Publication number: 20150358990
Abstract: Interference coordination is used between neighbouring evolved NodeBs operating on a shared frequency band in a wireless communications network. Improved capacity estimation may be obtained by determining a capacity estimate of an access node of the wireless communications network on the basis of the interference co-ordination. Traffic may be steered with improved accuracy on the basis of the determined improved capacity estimate.

  • Publication number: 20130045890
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to a method for predicting the fertility potential in a male mammal. In particular it relates to a method for predicting the fertility potential in a male mammal by determining the expression of at least one protein of the vitamin D metabolising machinery in a semen sample. The expression level of the at least one protein of the vitamin D metabolising machinery is then indicative of the fertility potential of the subject. An object of the present invention relates to a method, which can predict whether the semen quality is sufficient to achieve pregnancy spontaneously or if the couple should proceed to assisted reproduction or further investigation.

  • Patent number: 6997686
Abstract: A two-stage compressor for generating necessary pressure differential for air-conditioning applications with air-cooled, water-cooled and evaporative-cooled condensing systems using low-pressure refrigerant, such as R134a, is provided. A rotating assembly is mounted for rotation in a compressor housing and includes a shaft, a thrust bearing disk associated with the shaft to maintain an axial position of the rotating assembly, a motor rotor mounted on the shaft, and first and second impellers mounted for rotation with the shaft. First and second journal bearings are mounted in the compressor housing to support the shaft and maintain radial positioning of the rotating assembly. Volute housings including a spiral-shaped volute are associated with each of the impellers to collect and further discharge gas compressed by the impellers. Diffusers having air-foil shaped vanes are locate in the volute channels adjacent the discharge outlets of the impellers to aide in the discharge of gas from the impellers.

  • Publication number: 20060021899
Abstract: A packaging comprising a first and second outer part of metallic material, an inner part of non-metallic material made in one piece and comprising a first and second opposed side between which an element can be stored and a hinging part forming at least one hinge connecting said sides and allowing the sides to be rotated relative to each other within an angle so as to open the packaging and adapting the packaging and adapting the packaging for packing in an automated packing machine. At least a part of a perimeter of the first and second outer part is adapted to retain the inner part in order to attach said outer parts to said respective sides of said inner part for covering substantial part of the outer surfaces of the sides.

  • Publication number: 20050150897
Abstract: A medical dispenser adapted to inform a user of when to take medication, detect when the user accesses the medication and inform the user of his/tiers compliance to a medication schedule. The dispenser may inform the user with differing manners of informing (sound, light, vibration, higher of lower frequency or intensity) depending on the users compliance. Blister cards for use in the dispenser may be coded in order to inform the dispenser of a medication schedule, a desired compliance level, etc. The user may himself code the blister card. The dispenser may hold a blister card or may be adapted for providing medical doses for inhalation or injection.

  • Publication number: 20050087473
Abstract: A medical dispenser being adapted to hold a number of medical doses and being adapted to determine when a user or patient gains access to one or more of the medical doses, the dispenser comprising: means for determining each of a first plurality of points in time or time intervals at which the user or patient should take a medical dose, means for detecting each of a second plurality of points in time where the user or patient gained access to the medical doses, means for providing to the user or patient information relating to a relation between the first and second pluralities, and wherein the providing means are adapted to, if the user gains access to the medication multiple times per point in time or time interval in the first plurality of points in time or time intervals, provide information relating to a relation between the pairs of one of the firs plurality of points in time or time intervals and a first of the second plurality of points in time occurring after the pertaining point in time of the first

  • Patent number: 4175596
Abstract: The present invention is a stop device to be used in automatic feeding systems consisting of a number of feed dispensers placed in succession and combined with a pipe-shaped transport string (conveyor tube) in which the feed is conveyed by an endless feed mechanism, e.g. a scraper chain or a steel wire with scraping units, so that the feed dispensers are filled successively. The stop unit is mainly placed after the last feed dispenser.
