  • Patent number: 11314556
Abstract: Shadowing of local or remote information to cloud-based computing systems is provided. As content and activities associated with content (e.g., content modification activities, content communication activities, people associated with content, social networking associated with content, etc.) are developed at a local on-premises computing system that is remote from the cloud-based computing system responsible for maintaining the same content and content activities, the local content and activities are shadowed to the cloud-based system at a regular frequency so that the content and activities at the cloud-based system are synchronized and merged with the content and activities at the local system.

  • Patent number: 11080284
Abstract: Documents in a local computing system are parsed for indexing and sent to a cloud-based computing system. The cloud-based search service indexes documents that are parsed on the local computing system, as well as documents that reside in the cloud-based computing system. When a user launches a search, the search is executed against a single search index in the cloud-based computing system, which includes an index of content sources from both the local computing system and the cloud-based computing system.

  • Patent number: 10832876
Abstract: A push-button switch and a transportation vehicle in which the disclosed push-button switch is inserted. The push-button switch has a keycap, a base plate, a switching element, a first lever and a second lever. The first lever and the second lever are each mounted for rotation on the base plate by a pivot bearing and are each movably connected to the keycap at a first lever end. The first lever and the second lever are movably connected to one another at a second lever end. The switching element is arranged on the keycap so the switching element is actuated by the second lever end of the first lever or by the second lever end of the second lever.

  • Patent number: 10528142
Abstract: A method for actuating a control device for a transportation vehicle with a control element. A spring-elastic element is disposed underneath the control element and is indirectly or directly moved and/or deformed by a piezo element to give an operator at least a haptic feedback during the operation of the control element. The spring-elastic element is moved toward the control element when the piezo element is actuated and is brought into working contact with the control element. This enables the spring-elastic element to be transferred from a stable initial position into an unstable deformation position when the control element is operated. When the control element is released, the spring-elastic element automatically passes from the deformation position back to the initial position. A haptic feedback is produced by the spring-elastic element in each case in response to a change from the initial position to the deformation position and vice versa.

  • Publication number: 20180203869
Abstract: An API on a server system automatically gathers an instance of each multiple resources from different sources, storing each instance in the server system. Later, a call to the API is received from a querying application, the call comprising a search query comprising. In response, the API selects one or more of the plurality of resources as search results based on evaluating the criterion or criteria against the already-gathered instances of the resources as stored in the server system. The API returns a search response to the querying application, making the corresponding stored instances available to a consuming party In embodiments the API is “holistic” in nature, in that the search results may comprise different types of resource (e.g. file, email, task), from different types source (e.g. type of application they originate from), and/or related to the consuming part by different types of activity (e.g. used, modified shared, trending).
