Abstract: Provided are an electronic apparatus capable of recording content and method thereof, the electronic apparatus including: a receiver which receives a broadcast signal that includes a content including a plurality of discretely recordable detailed contents and an electronic programming guide (EPG) including information about the detailed contents and the content; a signal processor which extracts the EPG from the broadcast signal, extracts the information about the content and the plurality of detailed contents from the EPG, and extracts a detailed content from the content; a user input receiver which receives a user's selection using the information about the extracted detailed contents; and a controller which controls the signal processor to extract the detailed content from the content in accordance with the received user's selection, and records the extracted detailed content.
