    Abstract: A framework for provisioning security in an enterprise application. In an embodiment, a set of in-house roles and a set of outsourced roles are defined for a business function in the application. When a business unit is selected to perform the business function in-house, data roles specific to that business unit/business function association are created based on the set of in-house roles. When a business unit is selected to perform the business function in an outsourced capacity, data roles specific to that outsourcing relationship are created based on the set of outsourced roles. The data roles may then be associated with one or more users in the selected business unit. Using this framework, the appropriate security roles and privileges for performing a business function in an outsourced and/or in-house context may be explicitly defined within the application system. In addition, the roles and privileges may be provisioned in an automated manner.

    Abstract: A method detects an unreachable endpoint in a voice over IP network operating according to standard protocol. The endpoints include a first endpoint as a call originator and a second endpoint as a VoIP destination. The endpoints are connectable via a soft-switch. After each call, a check is performed to determine whether the second endpoint responded to the call. If the second endpoint did not respond to the call, a non-call related message found in the standard protocol is sent from the soft-switch to the second endpoint.

    Abstract: A system and method for efficiently and accurately determining grating profiles uses characteristic signature matching in a discrepancy enhanced library generation process. Using light scattering theory, a series of scattering signatures vs. scattering angles or wavelengths are generated based on the designed grating parameters, for example. CD, thickness and Line:Space ratio. This method selects characteristic portions of the signatures wherever their discrepancy exceeds the preset criteria and reforms a characteristic signature library for quick and accurate matching. A rigorous coupled wave theory can be used to generate a diffraction library including a plurality of simulated diffraction spectrums based on a predetermined structural parameter of the grating. The characteristic region of the plurality of simulated diffraction spectrums is determined based on if the root mean square error of the plurality of simulated diffraction spectrums is larger than a noise level of a measuring machine.

    Abstract: A method of determining and correcting for distortions introduced by an imaging tool. The method includes providing an imaging tool having a field of view (FOV), and creating a target pattern containing a regular array of symmetric sub-patterns having locations spanning the FOV. Using the imaging tool, the method then includes measuring relative position of the sub-pattern images at one or more target orientations, determining tool-induced sub-pattern position deviations from designed locations of the sub-patterns, and applying corrections to compensate for an orientation independent component of the sub-pattern position deviations. The target pattern may be mounted on a stage of the measurement tool, created on a mask used in the lithographic process, or created on a wafer being measured by the measuring tool.

The turbomachine has at least one operating condition which generates supersonic fluid flow at the blade. The blade is adapted to provide, at the supersonic operating condition, a leading edge sweep angle which varies such that successive radial positions (i) to (iii) along the leading edge are at respective sweep angle turning points. Position (i) is the radially inner and position (iii) the radially outer of the positions.     Abstract: The present invention is directed to a bioadhesive thermogelling hydrogel composition for repairing and/or augmenting an intervertebral disc. The bioadhesive thermogelling hydrogel composition can be cross linked with the surrounding tissue so as to potentially serve as a nucleus pulposus replacement or augmentation along with serving to repair annular tears or fissure. The bioadhesive thermogelling hydrogel composition may include three main components: a thermal responsive polymer, an amine-containing polymer and a crosslinking component. All three components can be modified and combined in numerous ways to serve the need of the system as long as the amine-containing component is kept separate from the crosslinking component until the components are injected. The incorporation of a two-part crosslinking thermal responsive hydrogel permits smaller amounts of the crosslinking component to be used and enables the crosslinking dialdehyde to be delivered locally into the tissue that will react with the hydrogel.
