  • Publication number: 20190384932
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed herein for managing and sharing sensitive information using blockchain technology. In certain embodiments, a transaction may be generated using information and a set of conditions, wherein satisfying the set of conditions by a requester of the information determines access to the information by the requester and the set of conditions include a count for a number of queries allowed for accessing the information. As requesters access the information, the count is decremented or adjusted and updated transactions are stored on the blockchain ledger until the count adjusts to a predetermined number, such zero. The information and the set of conditions may be defined by the user.

  • Publication number: 20190327090
Abstract: A system may include a transaction history controller to store, in a distributed blockchain database, a first chain including a primary head node for a first subscriber to a social media history map service and multiple blocks each representing an online transaction for the first subscriber, and a second chain including a follower head node, linked to the primary head node, for a second subscriber and multiple blocks each representing an online transaction for the second subscriber. The transaction history controller may receive data representing a first online transaction for the second subscriber, format the data for the distributed blockchain database, store the formatted data as a new block in the second chain, receive a request to generate a trend report for a cluster of subscribers that includes the first and second subscribers, and generate the trend report dependent on the blocks in the first and second chains.

  • Publication number: 20190289043
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method in which a processing system obtains physical and social environmental data for a communication device user, and provides content for presentation at the device. First reaction data, obtained via sensors associated with the user, indicate the user's reaction to presentation of the content; the data is analyzed to determine user affinity for the content in a context of the physical and social environments. The content is modified during the presentation; second reaction data is obtained and analyzed to determine a second user affinity for the modified content. If the affinity is enhanced, the modified content is sent to other users' equipment via a social network. Affinity responses regarding the modified content are analyzed, and a set of users is identified as an affinity group; additional content is transmitted to equipment of the affinity group. Other embodiments are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10374470
Abstract: An antenna system can be controlled to wirelessly transmit power to a mobile device in a far-field environment by using different types of metamaterials to shape and constrain the beam of power, controlling the antenna based on a predicted position of the mobile device, or both of these. The mobile device can use the power to charge a power source associated with the mobile device. The predicted position of the mobile device can be determined using position information, motion and direction information, and height information about the mobile device. The position of the antenna can be controlled so that the power is wirelessly transmitted to the mobile device in the Fresnel zone of the antenna.

  • Publication number: 20190197848
Abstract: A premises security system can leverage cloud-based analytics and captured information about a visitor at the premises to provide security to the premises. The system can include a sensor, an actuator, and a local processing device. The sensor can capture information about a visitor to the premises without requiring the visitor to provide the information. The actuator can perform an action with respect to the premises. The local processing device can communicatively couple to a cloud-based analytics system that can analyze the information with respect to one or more databases that include criminal history information, and return data representing a risk rating for the visitor or a command to perform the action. The local processing device can, in response to receiving the data, output a command to the actuator to perform the action.

  • Patent number: 10276025
Abstract: Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for a spatial telemeter alert reconnaissance system (“STARS”). According to one aspect disclosed herein, the STARS can receive, from a spatial mapping and monitoring (“SMM”) device, an initial space map for a space in which the SMM device is deployed. The initial space map can include a volume capacity of the space. The STARS can receive, from a user device, at least one space parameter to be utilized for the space in which the SMM device is deployed. The STARS device can update the SMM device in accordance with the space parameter. In some embodiments, the at least one space parameter can include a mapping frequency. The mapping frequency can instruct the SMM device to perform spatial mapping of the space at a specified time interval.

  • Publication number: 20180276662
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a blockchain service device includes an interface, a memory, and a processor. The interface receives a request to perform a blockchain service. The blockchain service includes generating a local key using a private key stored on a user device. The request includes a transaction restraint. The memory stores software used to generate an input to generate the local key. The processor generates the input in response to the request. The input is used to generate a local key that includes the at least one transaction restraint. The interface communicates the input and receives a first block in response to the communication of the input. The first block is generated using the local key and the transaction restraint. The processor inserts the first block in a blockchain, wherein inserting the first block in the blockchain preauthorizes a transaction that is limited by the transaction restraint.
